@@JumpRopeDudes I’m doing the thing and I noticed something. I’m up to 30-40 jumps now but I went to 50 and pulled my right calf muscle again. I continued to jump but I don’t thinks it’s because I’m not warming up, I am, I believe it’s due to these muscles not seeing any strain on them for like 60 years. I think I just have to push through the discomfort until they strengthen up. I’m not going to not do the thing.

do you use weighted jump ropes? would you recommend them?
@bettyfs7710 ай бұрын
I'm going to save this to the future. Currently I'm doing th JDR90. Anyway, it's great mix music to the jump rope, the beats helps to keep the jump rhythm. I like the Ac/DC and Imagine Dragons music to do it.❤

Drum n bass would be good. Dont have strength yet to do much single foot stuff so just rotating double foot items. Nice you have a good range of lessons on here. This is 5th one i have tried now. Does wind impact the heavier ropes less do you know?

This was great! I love the workouts where we know what's coming next, but this mix of moves is so much fun: the different lengths of work/rest; cueing us to the next move, etc. I also really appreciate that you talked throughout: I like the music, but your encouraging words (and seeing you huffing along with us) is key! Thank you!

Hey Dan, i have a question: I'm 14 years old and i just started jumping the rope. You think its good to jump rope at my age? btw i have a leather rope and i think i should get an polyvinyl chloride one you think i should do that or just stay with this rope? (PD: i love ur vids)
@JumpRopeDudes10 ай бұрын
Hey! Of course jumping rope is great at any age! If all you have is a leather rope, that's cool but I like ones that have a little weight to them like beaded ropes or pvc ones. Watch this video for more tips kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXWyeJVveJqeppI Hope this helps!

@Aadibh122410 ай бұрын
Hi Dan, a novice here... I have started jump rope consistently.. But the soles of my feet hurt very badly after I finish jump rope... I have seen your video on how to reduce injury... I'm not calling this injury but it hurts really bad.. I do all proper warmup as well as wear proper footwear... Anything I should check to see if it reduces the issue?
@JumpRopeDudes10 ай бұрын
Hmm, could be the surface you jump on, wear good shoes and use a mat. or maybe the muscles in your feet are sore? Many are surprised to find that they need to stretch/massage their feet because they also get sore. Hope this helps
