Just love your workouts. You don't scream like other fitness trainers, you keep a calm voice and when I'm done with a workout and can really feel it. I'm 66 and have osteoporosis and I have no problem doing you videos. Thanks for making them fun.

Perfect weight workout for seniors . I'm only 52 but it's perfect for menopausal women and when you don't have a lot of time. I'll be doing more of your workouts

LOVE her workouts! I'm 59 with joint issues. These workouts are easy to follow - no difficult/awkward movements; a very good, effective workout that I am feeling and seeing results with. Thanks for acknowledging those of us that want to stay in shape but are not thin and 25 anymore!

Hi Meredith. A group of my senior friends follow you and several other KZbin trainers. We do more strenuous workouts than yours, but I call yours “sneaky”. They feel easy while we are doing them. Excellent workout. I am now 60 and have had to scale my workouts down to moderate. I've been working out for 30 years. Your form cues are great!

LOVE this!! I have not worked out in so long and this is such a great way to ease back into doing something daily. I really need to build some strength and your breathing cues are so helpful as well. Thank you for helping to make working out again so easy. I started with 3 lb weights and I'm getting ready to move to 8lb weights!!

I am glad you are enjoying the workouts! I usually mention weights as a single dumbbell weight number. As 5lb set of dumbbells, each is 5lbs. I hope this helps!

Hi, Meredith! I just finished the 30 minute salsa routine, the resistance bands workout (snapped one of my bands😖) and the beginning HIIT routine. My second bottle of water has been chilling, and I might just give this a go. As of this morning, I am 0.6 lb away from my goal of a “quarantine 15” being a negative number. I could not have done with without you! Just got an exercise ball and a new, adjustable set of dumbbells. Ready to keep blasting this fat and preventing diabetes!

I just completed this! Guess it’s time to move from resistance to weights. While working out, I was thinking that you would have been a top notch gym teacher. You have a way of really encouraging people. I wish that instead of competitive games where kids are picked last and picked on, that there were a gym class for out of shape kids, with exercises like this. The kids would see results, keep going, and be healthier by the end of the year.

Hi, just started doing these videos with weights, to alternate with cardio work. I really like your helpful tips, to give people options, if a particular way of doing something doesn't work for them. Everyone's body is doing different things, especially as we age, so I really appreciate the acknowledgement of that. Thank you for what you do!!

Wow! What a great workout! I just found your video and I love it. Definitely my cup of tea. I'm 54 and over the last year I've had a lot of struggles and because of it I haven't been moving and being active like I used to and like I should. I've become frail and weak and sore. I've been getting out for walks again, and doing other cardio in the house. I am feeling better but I need to build my strength up. I can tell I've lost muscle. I love doing aerobics and I prefer standing videos due to comfort and space. Can you suggest a good routine to start with? Cardio video one day, strength train video the next day? Thank you so much. I can't wait to try out your other videos.

Meredith, I'm so glad I discovered your videos! I enjoy the pace and the excercises with weights. What weights do you recommend? I've been using 3kg and 5 kg (when I feel strong). Brian 83 years of age, London

Hi Brian! I am so happy you are enjoying the workouts!I think the dumbbells you are using are great! Always use what feels best on each day, knowing some days you will feel stronger than others. As you feel stronger and your dumbbells do not challenge you any longer, then you can think about getting heavier. Keep up the great work!! Take care, Meredith

Hello, I appreciate your videos! My question is, with very little time each day to try to squeeze in exercise, which videos should I rotate for a full body weight workout? I was think I should try to do this one 3 or 4 times a week. You have so many videos, I don’t know what to stick with. I’m 60, have a desk job, family at home - still 2 teens in the home, husband who’s 70 and not active.

Thanks for the video, Meredith; I did it. I have a question - do you have any substitutions for some of us who are not supposed to do squats or, really any type of challenging ab exercises? Also, if someone has a torn rotary cuff and can't completely lift that arm, could they just lift it as far as it goes? I hope my questions were understandable. Thank you

Hi Varina! Knee raises for squats; seated core and abdominal work is great; shoulder movements only to the level that feels good. I hope this helps!

I am 66 years young, and have muscle loss as a result of illness last year. However am well now and would like to regain muscle and have been regularly doing arm weight exercises for a few weeks. I would actually like to build some definition in my arms and am hoping you could suggest particular exercises to achieve this please? Also is there any hope for reversal of creepy loose skin in upper arms?

Do you forget all those exercises and stop and remember the exercise you have to do because I know would forget. Also what’s the best weight to start out with.

If you are just starting out, starting with very light dumbbells, even water bottles or soup cans, is a great way to get form correct while still getting strength training. 3-5lb dumbbells are good if you are still new but know the movements.
