Uliana, you are such a super star when it comes to teaching yoga; your gentle cues, humility and grace comes through in every practise! As someone who learned to do yoga in an ashram and have had a few 500hrs certified teachers during my 49yrs as a yogini, you are without any doubt on top of your game! Hi Uliana, after almost 4 months of non-physical activity due to Covid, followed by an injured hand this was a great session to start with. recently had knee surgery and trying to add something in my work out to help with strengthening tendons in the knee and getting more flexible. this was my first time trying this and man way harder than it looks lol

Hey Uliana, thank you SO MUCH for all your standing Yoga videos. I started doing Yoga at the beginning of last year but had to take a 2,5 months break at the end of October due to knee surgery. Now I'm slowly starting to get back into it but can't do any flows and classes which include sitting oder kneeling. So your standing videos are perfect for giving me the great feeling of doing Yoga at my current level.

Just did this one for the first time (I'm slowly working my way through the Standing Yoga playlist) and I feel great. I've had problems with my knees from childhood, so Godess pose always worries me, but doing it with your flow and hearing your encouragement helps me get through it safely. Thank you for providing a morning routine to get me started on my day. As an older individual the standing routine work for me. Can you suggest how I might begin more floor routines given I'm not very flexible?

If you feel really really stiff in seated poses, you might want to stick to standing routines for a while, then slowly try introducing simple seated postures :) maybe try this 10 min seated video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oILGlpl3etmLm7c Just don't push yourself too much, sitting on the floor can be challenging as most of us spend our life sitting in chairs))

Thank you very much for making this video. I am very grateful. I have to say though for me personally, just getting back into exercise about 2 weeks ago the poses for me are just too long. I find myself getting fidgety, angry and then of course if it's too difficult then I'll give up.

Wondering how this is for those of us with knee arthritis and issues? Maybe seated poses better?

I think it depends. Seated or chair yoga poses can indeed be a better option sometimes as they put less strain on the knees, on the other hand, standing poses can be great for strengthening the muscles around the knees, which can help support the joint. It's important to always listen to your body and avoid any movements that cause pain or discomfort, and consult with your healthcare provider if you have specific health concerns related to exercise.
