ahh Opeth, the most insane band to have ever existed and I mean it. I love everything from Beatles to Zepp, Sabbath, Dio, Purple, Floyd, tallica, Megadeth, Meshuggah, Carcas, Mayhem, Marduk, Tame Impala, Radiohead, Muse, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Katatonia and much more. Wide catalogue of musicians and music and still I say Opeth is the most insane among all. I truly believe Opeth is a gift to mankind.

yeah, and he didnt have uncle steven wilson to make it sound like blackwater park!

He did vocals on Katatonia’s album around the same year. Very similar vocals. GOAT vocals imo

This was the first Opeth song i ever heard in my life.... a friend left a cd in my car full of mp3 songs like 20 years ago... Played it in my car and he had the Morningrise album there, not gonna talk like it was a turning point in my life but Opeth is my all time favorite band and i can't help but remember that moment every now and then, not that my life would have been a lot different without it but i cant imagine it now without Opeth, my best companion driving on looooooong trips, instead of feeling like its a torture to drive 4h-5h straight most of the times when i get to my destination i still stay in the car smoking a last cigarette just to allow the current song to end... Time just flies with Opeth

Reptile is shorter than Black Rose Immortal! It's Periphery time!!! honestly though I don't know how you rehearse for this song, they started playing it live for the first time ever like...just last year and Mikael had to joke about how big a deal it was

Dude . Exactly . I was lucky enough to see it live last year in London . They played one song from every album . Mikael said they had never played it live before . Unbelievable .
