I love you guys. I love Germany and anything german. I am greek, but I was born and raised in Cape Town/South Africa. I grew up with Germans since I was 2 years old. Starting off with the Deutsches Kindergarten, continued with the Deutsche Schule Kapstadt and finished school in the Deutsche Schule Athen. Jus to give you the idea of how much I love German people, food, traditions and all this I grew up with. My dream always was to travel to Germany, and live there for ever. A dream that never came true and as it seems it most probably never will. So you can imagine how exited I am whenever your videos are on youtube. I thank you both soooooooo much for showing me my beloved country, somehow making my dream come true. Danke Schätzchen. Ihr seid geil. Ich liebe euch beide so sehr !!!

Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods. What thing soever I command you, that shall ye observe to do: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it." Leviticus 20: 27: "A man also or a woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them." Levticus 19: 31: "Turn ye not unto them that have familiar spirits, nor unto the wizards; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am Jehovah your God." (ASV) This is a christians' way, Acts 19: 19: "And not a few of them that practised magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all; and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver." But, the inhabitants of World Sodom run to fortune tellers and astrologers while blessing them in the name of God... The problem is Devil runs the world. He is liar and murderer. 9:12 🦆 I would go on a bustour with family from 🇧🇪 to the closest border towns & cities (Aachen, Düsseldorf, Köln, Oberhausen...) always bought brezeln (you could put it in a bag and carry it around the entire time bc I was always hungry.) usually butterbrezeln 🥐 It didn't look like the salzbrezeln at 9:48 but it was twice that size. 🤣 but also onion, cheese, ham, don't know whether a version with mushrooms or zimt is also available... haven't been to a christmas market in quite some time... but I love pretty much everything. I eat all the classic staples: A big bratwurst with senf in a tiny breadroll. Love Flammkuchen, mushrooms, anything with zimt, yes gluhwein and hot apple cider or all those jäger teas and stuff... so the intro to this video is just 💯😂

As a Hungarian person, seeing lángos on offer at German Christmas markets still feels weird. Back at home, lángos, which is quite similar to Native American frybread, is always eaten on the beach, in summer, whenever you feel hungry after swimming; never in the winter cold.
@Bioshyn2 жыл бұрын
It's not just on Christmas markes in Germany, my town for example has a wine fest in August, and you can get langos there too. Crepes bratwurst and langos or flammkuchen or pizza is something you pretty much always find at any type of outdoor market, festival etc.
@Kenshin5642 жыл бұрын
There is a Langos booth at pretty much every medium to larger sized fest in Germany all around the year. I guess it also might come in handy that they can sell it at home in the summer and in Germany in the winter. Maybe that is what some do?

I recommend the Silesian Christmas market in Görlitz. You should definitely try the Silesian bratwurst there, which is a veal bratwurst with lemon. There is smoked beef sausage from the grill and freshly baked Hungarian Baumkuchen (Kürtőskalács), which is incredibly tasty fresh from the fire. You should also try poppy seed dumplings, which are only available in this region. There is a yurt set up at the market where there are various mulled wines and punch, I recommend the blueberry mulled wine.

Those cups are beautiful, they should start using them in Prague as well. I enjoyed your video, actually I started filming Christmas markets in my city Prague as well.

In the southwest, Krautschupfnudeln are essential to every stand. It's unthinkable to have a christmas market without Krautschupfnudeln and a Rote Wurst

Potato latkes are the best with onions and sour cream! Usually eaten on Hanukkah! Super good! My son went to Germany and loved the food!

This is great timing. I’m flying to Germany this weekend and I know I’ll be near a few markets in the next couple weeks. I never knew my love of mushrooms was genetic.

Hehe, if you are in Germany during Christmas market season, then you can't help but be near a few markets. They are EVERYWHERE here. Each and every tiny town will have a market somewhere.
