"Multi-window for all apps" in Labs just enables "Force activities to be resizeable" in Developer options, more like a proxy for that specific setting. Developer options need not be enabled anymore if anyone wishes to activate just that setting. Samsung surely implemented this for a more pleasant user experience and better app support in DeX and their foldables. "Developer options" is often regarded as "dangerous," so I'm not surprised Samsung implemented it this way. For example, Samsung DeX users no longer need to fiddle with the Developer options just to have unsupported apps be resizable. That said, it's not true that Instagram and other unsupported apps can't be opened in multi-window or pop-up view before One UI 4.0. It was actually possible since Android 7 Nougat. "Force activities to be resizeable" just need to be enabled in Developer options. The phone may need a restart to fully apply the changes. Regardless, great informative video!

Note 10 Plus in US on AT&T just got updated to Android 12 and doesn't have Extra Dim in the drop down menu, and doesn't show it to add. Only see a Bedtime mode, but turns the screen to grayscale.

Hey Fredrick, l checked and the A32 5G has an LCD screen, which means it won't come with an Always-on display. This feature requires an OLED display. Finally they added that option to the AOD.....i hope they will use the second screen of the Z Flip 3 more and directly show the notifications without having to tap the screen to see them,it's kind of a wasted potential

@@TechGuyCharlie Guess i'm gonna find out only when the final version comes. BTW in a way i'd say that S21 Plus was a better choice especially if you want to use it daily. The battery of the Z Flip is pretty poor,on Android 11 at least.I had the Note 8 back in it's day and the battery capacity was the same,and it held up better than the Flip.I guess it's either the high refresh rate or the SD 888 is really inefficient on battery.

Hey Paul, thank you. Also, please avoid the beta version as its got a lot of bugs and you will run into problems on your phone. The stable version for the Note 20 Ultra should be out by the end of this month! Will make a video as soon as my phone gets the update. 😊

And btw, the protect Battery feature also tries to keep it at 85% even when charging the phone while it is powered off. The charging animation stops rotating at that percentage.

The Ultra SDx version still doesn't work properly with the refresh rate. Almost always suck at 60 or 121. It works for a short time after restarting but failed to continue proper variability of refresh rate

So they still haven't fixed it? the December patch is out, that should have fixed the problem with refresh rate.. Thankfully haven't faced the refresh rate issue on Exynos variant!

@@TechGuyCharlie they had sent out what I thought was the patch at around 380 MB I believe. But that didn't seem to fix it it just made it possible to get it back up to 120. If I want to turn adaptive refresh rate on and for it to work I have to reset my phone. And it's always locked at either 60 or 121 can't get that variable part to work I guess. Lol

the only thing it brings is more customization options, nothing more...whether they are useful for users...that is debatable, many of us prefer Samsung to make a cleaner and more optimized OS with the option to uninstall system apps that we do not use as ar emoji or ar zone...etc...
