Hey guys! Welcome to my Slayer tips & tricks video where I will be showcasing 20 of my favourite slayer tips & tricks to you guys. I learned most of these tips and tricks throughout my road to 120 slayer and I wanted to share them with you guys. Skip the tasks you don’t like! Even if they are good. If you don’t do it you will burn out of slayer quickly!

Should have mentioned menaphos scarabites as a daily, great xp and even skillers can do

+ #17 Bonecrusher upgrade??! Picks up bones automatically. Also with high archeology level you can get these bones automatically noted in your invetory. + #18 You can add your ferocious ring to your slayer helmet. Vital sparks tip was new to me. I'm 110 rn and CCs & SDs are both in my prefer list.

Just to answer ur question, no. If the monster doesnt have a slayer level requirement to kill, it wont have a mask

Aim for t90 weapons in every style, and t80 armor, either gwd2 armor or nex armor.

Yes get t90 weapons (noxious weapons) and at least tier 80 armour. Also know the mechanics of a boss (watch a youtube guide) and then join some experienced guys as a learner

So just 1 question, you mentioned the cannon and oldak coil with 2 tasks but both are oldak coil tasks but you didn't mention the 1 task that the cannon is very useful for and I understand it has a high requirement of 115 dung but edimmu are amazing and my new favorite task to do.

Question about Ushabtis: I carried some while slaying but never got any captured creatures. Do I need to do something special with those to work? I kill a lot of deamonheim demons and never got anything. Wondering if I am missing something ?!?

It is pretty rare to capture one. Theres a calculator in the wiki that shows the odds of capturing a specific soul runescape.wiki/w/Ushabti

Lol still calling them aquanties? They're aqua-knights. That aside, good video. Found some good information. I don't think you mentioned the genocidal perk though, but that one's useful. Also, some people use Anima core instead of their main armor for slayer because anima core doesn't degrade. Just thought I should mention that.

I haven't really played in like ten years, so IDK if this is still applicable, but one trick I firgured out was to always use super attack and super strength potions when doing slayer. The extra DPS means more xp and often more profite even with the potion costs.

While that would have been good advice, the game had changed a LOT in the last 10 years, with the addition of EoC (Evolution of Combat) and more accessible power crept weaponry (all the while enemies remain at the same power level) potions for DPS aren't anywhere near as important when it comes to Slayer, potions now have Extreme and Supreme variants and for the badest of bad, be it boss or monster, players tend to use one of the Overload potion variants, which boost all combat stats by between 17 and 21 depending on the Overload potion used and your current level in combat skills. That said, potions are a good way to increase dps and circumvent some damage if you are struggling with a task, though the potions of which you speak are now far more expensive than they were back in the day, Super Ranging potions for example can go upwards of 25k a piece.

@@YGOrochi overloads had just come out around when I stopped playing, and I would have used them for slayer but my herblore is like 54 or something. I think super strength and supper attack were both over 10k for 4 dose potions when I was doing that so I wouldn't flinch doing slayer with 25k a piece super ranged potions. I think I was doing slayer with a choatic rapier before EoC so that should pin down the timeframe pretty well.

109 slayer and haven’t got over 12k slayer exp from a reaper. Wish people would stop saying it’s a good way to earn gp, 74m from 30 days of effort is not good gp!

Check the merch for a gift of the reaper, also it shouldn't take you 30 days to get 300 reaper points as most common tasks (gwd1 and gwd2) are 15-25 reaper points per task if you have extended tasks on. But back to the gift of the reaper its 1.25m from merch and is 20 reaper points doing the math you would need 15 gifts for a hydrix which is roughly 71m rn. 1.25m x 15 is roughly 19m which means you should make around a 50m profit

Pretty sure smoking kills does not let you craft slayer helm anymore. You need to buy it with slayer points.

Nah, Smoking Kills is needed in order to craft the helm, in fact a reward for the quest says "Ability to construct combined slayer items"

You can turn off maxed skills, but other than that, yes its random

Blocking Demons but preferring Greater Demons. Can't see how that should work if all demon types are wanting to be blocked.

It's the other way around. Block greaters (and black imo) but prefer Demon cluster. With a demon cluster task you can do Ripper Demons, great xp and gp.

Is there any reason to upgrade your slayer helmet if it's just going to be sitting in the stand?

Its better to put slayet helmet in the stand. You get the effect without using it

The reason the Slayer Helmet is usually upgraded first is because it can take a very, VERY long time to get Anecronia upgraded to tier 3 Slayer camp and is far more beneficial to wear and upgrade during the waiting period, the 12.5% damage increase actually comes from the Black Mask required to craft the Slayer Helmet. But to answer your question, no there is not a NEED to upgrade it however, fighting hazardous enemies with a T85 hybrid helmet with 295~ defence and a 12.5% damage boost is far better than stuffing a nose peg on the end of your snout.
