I LOVED the ending bit of Leopard laughing with Tiger. Don't really ever see much of Tiger being portrayed as chill and controlled, let alone see much of the characters in general just being a family. Showing the hidden lines between the canon stories is one of the things I love most about the MAPs of this fandom. I love the whole pacing throughout this MAP too. You can digest the story and emotions super easily, and the smooth and slow pacing matches the somber music very well. Beautiful animations and backgrounds and designs all around.

I honestly cried at the last part where Leopardfoot and Tigerclaw were talking to each other. It just hurts me knowing the fate of what becomes of the dark tabby. I just wish that things were better for him, and maybe then he wouldn't have gone down the path that he chose.

If they hadn't told Pinestar to kill his son ((and that his son was destined to be evil!) then he probably wouldn't have been so desperate to leave immediately. Maybe he would have still left, but the pressure to *kill his kid* was a huge part. or Brokenstar being "born evil" when really he grew up given to an abusive adoptive mom that kicked him away when he would try to eat/seek comfort as a tiny brand new kit! Then taught to fight brutally and given affection as a reward for that?? The prophecies are so silly, they just guarantee harm for the kids to then grow up wrong. Like The Three being given away instead of Leafpool just telling her father, the leader, who was super understanding! The dang prophecies just cause trouble -_-

Things the Erins should've done with Tigerstar: 1) Have him be Bluestar's apprentice. The way she responded to his betrayal, you'd've thought she thought of him as a son. It also makes more logical sense for her unwavering trust in him prior to his attempted murder. Why would she trust her former political rival's apprentice who she saw nearly kill a kittypet kitten? 2) Have Leopardfoot give him a life. Like, seriously? The fiftieth Whitetail gets to give him a life, but his own mother doesn't? His deadbeat dad (who I'd argue is a strong reason Tigerstar turned out the way he did) gets to give him a life, but the mother who stuck around and raised him as best as she could singlepawed can't? Unless she was so ashamed of him that she couldn't bear to even go to his nine lives ceremony, but even then, have him notice her absence. Something. 3) Speaking of Leopardfoot, have her be involved somewhere in the Final Battle. I don't think it's in her character to go full Yellowfang and kill him personally, but Leopardfoot should've at least been around when he died. Maybe she could be the one cat who's genuinely distraught that she doesn't get to see him ever again. Cause that's her baby! 4) Stop making New Tigerstars. Less about the Tigerclawstar and more about his descendants. They could've done really cool things with Hawkfrost, but no, he's Tigerstar Junior. And Tigerheartstar? There's no way in Hades Tawnypelt would've named her son after the father she tried desperately to forget. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.

this MAP is absolutely beautiful. I can clearly see how much care went into portraying this character in a human sense, on top of that a character who gets very little love and recognition by the fandom. Every part shows the heartbreak Leopardfoot feels when realizing her mate has left her and the Clan, her two daughters dying, and the ending part with her speaking to Tigerclaw is just insanely sweet and warm. thank you for bringing more love to this character!

I've never seen a map for leopardfoot. And I'm surprised, she has such a sad story. Her mate leaves her to become a kittypet, he never loved their kits, her two daughters died, her son became kitty cat hitler. She's such a good character! After tigerpaw is apprenticed, she is still said too be protective over him and for good reason too. She doesn't get enough love.

A nice little detail I noticed is that before Leopardfoot found out about Pinestar meeting kittypets was the only time we saw other cats that werent a part of her story. After she found them, the only other characters being shown are Leopardfoot herself,her kits, Pinestar and Jake, showing how much she maybe felt distant from the other cats around her. Might just be interpreting way too much but if not, beautiful way of showing not telling!

Awwww. I always loved Leopardfoot. Such an underrated character to me. The end scene where she and Tigerclaw were talking and giggling felt bittersweet, considering she would eventually watch him grow up to be a such terrible person (as implied by the cutscene), and be separated from him in death. This was a very beautiful MAP! The backgrounds, the animation, the lighting, and the emotions were flawless in every part! I also absolutely adore the designs! The Leopardfoot design was such a unique take considering she’s usually just portrayed as really dark grey with a few black spots, and I also love the mix of orange in Tigerclaw’s coat. Usually I just see him as really dark brown, but I think the orange mixes in really well! Especially considering he has “tiger” in his name. So anyways yeah! Great job everyone :)

I always felt extremely sad for Leopardfoot because she's very much a victim she was only 5-6 moons old when Bluekit was born, and Pinestar had long since been leader. And than he just leaves her, and she has no one to comfort her. And than her 2 daughters die, and her only son becomes a murderer

What are you even talking about? 🤨🤣 Tigerstar was evil but he still loved his kits. He was willing to kill himself to save Bramble from a burning tree. He wanted his kits out before he lead the dogs to Thunderclan. Tawny would rather have been with him than Thunderclan. Tigerstar HATED half clan kits but still favored Hawkfrost over any clan cat besides Bramblestar. We never saw how he interacted with Mothwing. Tigerstar was evil but not a bad dad. Bramblestar was willing to not only sacrifice his position as deputy, but his position in the clans as a whole to defend Hollyleaf. He also lied during that, he was just a father trying to protect his daughter. It did seem to show less of his fatherly side when Alderheart and Sparkpelt were born but he was also leader at this point and Thunderclan was in constant drama 😂 Tigerstar 2.0 gotta be the best father in the whole series. Dude would drop his whole clan to protect his kits and mate lol. He was ready to pull the plug in everythinf with the dark forest once he saw Shadow was safe lol.

Ok, can I just say I LOVE LEOPARDFOOT’S DESIGN OML- But seriously Leopardfoot is so underrated. She became mates with Pinestar-an adult! And then gave birth to three kits, two of them dying and the other going on to become one of the most dangerous cats in Warriors EVER. I really wish there was a novella dedicated to her or maybe a super edition explaining her life and why she thought mating with Pinestar was a good idea, bec IT WAS NOT. And then showing her life after that in StarClan (and it would show how she died bec that was never explained) and how she watched Tigerkit grow up and become the cat he became. Idk I would just love a novella or super edition on her. Maybe it would be called Leopardfoot’s Denial or Leopardfoot’s Sorrow…CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!! This feels different than a lot of other MAPs I've seen in that it tells a story of suffering and loss without all the adventure and bloodshed that accompanies so many warrior cat stories. Sometimes, your husband leaves you and your children die of natural causes and it hurts just as much even if there was no war and no great evil at work.

Even though Leopardfoot was only ever briefly mentioned and hardly talked about, she's always been one of my favorite background characters. Basically led on my Pinestar if you think about it, especially with the age gap. Then him getting his dream so he abandons her and the kits instead of working with them - so he leaves. His grieving mate, who lost her kits, and with a small innocent kit who hasn't a clue, but knows what his dad left and did. And begins to resent kittypets for it. And with Tigerclaw portrayed as this small kit, I feel like we really get to see there was definitely a lot of potential to see his loving relationship with his mother, contrasted with his hate for kittypets like his father.

Honestly, I found it *really* disturbing on how Pinestar's almost like a grandpa and Leopardfoot looks like she just turned 20 (in human years, if u catch what I mean) had kits together, but hey? @Unimpressively Me. As much as I like parts of Pinestar's character, the age gap with Leopardfoot is predatory and always was. These are heavily humanized cats, the "just animals" reason does not work with Warriors even though the fandom likes to pick and choose when that fits in. She's still a Paw, an apprentice, a teenager, in the books when cats first start commenting on their "chemistry" and Pinestar starts thinking of her romantically. Leopardfoot was groomed. Leopard was groomed by an older guy, watched him leave the clan without telling her his reasoning why, had to see her daughters both die, and had to watch her only surviving son turn into a monster.

Let us remember that Bramblestars great aunts are Spottedleaf and Willowpelt, and his great uncles are Redtail and Patchpelt. Tigerstar killed Redtail, Redtail was his uncle. Tigerstar is also cousins to Graystripe.

editing cause i rewatched this and i don't think my old comment really got across how beautiful i think this MAP is. i love how this MAP really just takes a minute to look at Leopardfoots life. her mate (who absolutely groomed her) left right after she had his kids with little explanation, two of her babies grew weak and died...yet, for the most part, she did her best to do with what she still had. Tigerkit. i always liked to think his hatred of kittypets wasn't because his father left to become one, but because that action caused his mother so much pain. not to mention how well all the animators did! the MAP looks stunning, and all the parts really get across the overall energy of the project. i love this MAP so much and it really shows why i love Leopardfoot so much.

This turned out amazing! I’ve never thought about background character’s perspectives a lot, except for Leopardfoot. When reading Pinestar’s novella (forgot the name lol) I was like, “wait, you just left your mate with 3 kits to raise without a father?? You didn’t even try to change your son’s ominous fate? Just run from responsibility?” Though I can kinda understand Pinestar’s temptation to just make an easier way of life without the stress of leading a clan at war and being told to kill his son, it was still upsetting to Leopardfoot and Tigerkit who had to watch him abandon them for the life of a kittypet.
