This really makes me want to attempt this myself! I haven't drawn myself in ages. You should definitely do more styles! My favorites were the Panty & Stocking, Doug, and Rick and Morty styles. Not because I like their art best, but because you basically hit the nail on the head personifying yourself in those styles.

Great video Katelyn, this was a lot of fun to watch you do these 20 different styles and see what came out of it. I actually watched a lot of these growing up as well, there were a few that I had no idea what they were with the kanji titles though lol. I would so love to see another one of these in the future sometime. Or maybe one where you draw the whole super geek crew in the style of there favorite cartoon. Keep up the phenomenal work.

I saw this challenge for the first time on Kasey Golden’s channel and I enjoyed watching how you approached the different styles! +Ashy Dun ahh thank you so much :) and I honestly think anyone can be an artist. It is just sometimes easier or harder for some people but in the end, it all boils down to practice, practice, practice. Every artists starts at square one. It just takes time and dedication to get to where you want to be. In terms of your other question, I use Photoshop CC and I have a Wacom Cintiq 13 HD.

So basically to draw yourself you can just take the character outlines nose lips, eye and eyebrow lines and ears simply just follow your character basics colors and some details... um... i kinda like that. Cause it lets see how much u can draw further in that. btw the last one of your own style is really nice combination of cartoonish and anime style mixed and it is something​g between that.. neither cant tell it is she or he personally xD if i did not seen rest of those... Neutral type style or drawing. :D

If you are thinking of trying anime styles, try to find ones with very distinct characteristics. There are a lot out there that don't really have a distinct look. Look at the eye shapes, face shapes, and if they have a stylized approach to them. Hope that helps :)
