Jeff, those boots you showed during the intro looked very versatile. Perhaps you could make a presentation showing a single pair of boots with a range of clothing options. That would be a useful guideline for those viewers whose every day carry is a Flight Bag. Because the boots are too bulky to pack into a Carry On Flight Bag, one would dress to travel while wearing the boots and pack a pair of lightweight loafers, or driving shoes in the Carry-on. Then the boots need to compliment an overcoat as well as a suit, or a sports coat. Sounds fussy, but in Australia, where you spend a lot of your business life flying, the 7kg weight restriction for Carry-on Bags means that choosing your footwear is importan. I'm here in DC and although we have plenty of stylish brothers we tend to go heavy with the Brooks Brother look , which is cool but it's good to mix it up every once in while without going too far and you are a great guide for that. … I did enjoy your wide range feature above, indeed. as for me, I’ve come to appreciate two more items that I‘d mention here - one is elegant chelsea boots (in black and natural brown, with fitting belts, of course) and the other is self-wound bow ties, the latter in accentual colours, hq silk (better to wind), and what‘s especially great with latter is that they‘re never in one‘s way, neither in soup or alike, nor drawings, nor instruments etc. and as for button-down shirts, it may de-stress somewhat if one opts for ironing-free ones - and acquaints oneself with proper folding | compression techniques for storage and carrying them along, eg on travel.

Great list O.G.! I'm 19 for 20. The only one I don't have in my style collection is the drawstring trousers, and I'll have to pass on those. For bags I recommend a Saddleback Leather Front Pocket backpack or their Flight Bag. Just got back from a trip and that backpack was my workhorse. Used it nonstop and it handled everything really well.

I’ve been fortunate to have 2 different light wool dress pieces with matching Trousers and Shirt Jacket set in black and brown. What you choose to use for a shirt is completely versatile. But it’s also hard it seems to find nice Shirt Jackets.
