I have always wanted to play football at a decent competitive level, even if it's just semi pro. Although Ive never played in any sort of developmental or academy set up. However I decided to trial with a second division reserve side in my country, and while i was eventually cut from the team, playing with higher level players for a month was so beneficial, I became a much better player in that short space of time, and i became so much more confident in my abilities as I started to feel like I could compete with the rest of the players in the squad

I play semi pro and before I even made the team I had only been on 2 club teams, hs teams and a rec team, I had never been on an academy, now I'm on a semi pro team, academy team and a club team my point is patience is incredible and God is great 🙏✝️

Same exact thoughts here. I know I'm likely not becoming pro, played footy from 7 to 14 then quit until I reawakened at 19 (now), might be too late. Even so I want to push my limits and achieve even a fragment of my childhood dream and the sport I love, I don't want to leave regrets knowing what "could've" been if I never tried. At least if I try my absolute hardest and fail, I know that I'm not leaving regrets.

@philipohippo was a good year,I wasn't the captain, I played 21/22 games in under 20 top division of my state. We got third on goal different and fight till last game. We had a second u21div which we got champion and won it all!my first ever trophy... And promoted to first division which unfortunately we got 3rd in our group of 5 and didn't qualify for next round, I'm in break now,overall it was a very hard year,but I really progressed a lot,im very grateful for that,will slowly start my training on my weaknesses which was heading and clearance also heading in attacking scenarios. Played almost 2900 min in 3 competition Looking for the next one.

In terms of how much played out of full games, I played 30/34 21/22 of u20 top division,I was suspended for yellow cards for one match Missed 2 match in second division u21 because my cards had issues and they didn't let me play for some rule thing which club got it solved And played 7/8 in the top u21,missed one due to injury.

Truth be told, I've done a lot of research, read a lot of self help, done a lot of training mental and physical, and somehow, still manage to get down. It's only with the help from my friends and information from people like you that I realise, at the end of the day everybody is human, and not everyone is one and the same and that everybody has different paths to go on. Some people reach the end goal faster than others and some maybe a bit later, but the main thing is to not give up at any cost and enjoy the life one has set their hearts on, through the ups and downs. 6 years ago I did not like my coach because he put me in a defender position LB , I hate it at the beginning I wanted to play as a wing like “Neymar”…. however,later I found your channel and I start to like my position and my level improved !so fast !
