Drug and alcohol addiction is incurable, incurable just like many forms of cancer. The type of care for a cancer patient will do exactly the same thing for the cancer patient as when done for addicts or alcoholic patients. It will worsen or improve the disease. Thus, treating both the same behaviorally, not medicinally or medically, is the key to success. What can be done is the pattern of management that provides success and dignity and anonymity in care.

A lot of this I blame on the doctors that are prescribing these medications. Yes granted the actors and actresses have enough money where they can get whatever they want. But if a doctor who's prescribing this medication cease of the person is out of control using the medication they should not be prescribed them the medication. They're probably getting to go somewhere else where they're going to get the medication. But it's called ethics and integrity. If you know someone has an addiction you just do not keep prescribing them medications. But they do it because they're making millions of dollars off these stars and they don't care. They figure if they want the medication if they're dumb enough to take it well then we're going to be smart enough to make money off of them and keep giving them what they want. Although I don't know how smart that is. They have to live with their own conscience
