Just now watched this. Nice. You chose one of my favorite pieces. I almost didn’t record it and no one in the studio liked it. Have you joined my Discord yet?

Really happy you enjoyed! And wow, it would have been a huge tragedy if this track wasn't recorded. I'm glad you ultimately pushed it through as, for me, it's not only one of the best Halo tracks, but one of the greats across all mediums. Thank you for all your contributions to Halo--the soundtrack is a timeless treasure.

are you kidding? This piece has always moved me to tears. It's almost incomprehensible how sublime of an emotion and philosophy this instills in me. It's one of the greatest pieces ever related to that pivotal moment in our shared history, where humanity began looking up.

To all our brothers is arms who did not get to see this day; To all our Spartan or Elite friends that we fought side by side throughout the years, and then had to leave behind, thank you. Thank you for your memories. Thank you for all of the fun time we've had together because it's you who make Halo, Halo. So today we'll remember them and all of the great times that we've had together as we move forward to Infinite. Here's hoping there's another 20 years after this. I still remember how this thing started. 2001. Times were truly different back then: LAN parties, couch co-op, and not a care in the world. There's a lot 20 years can do. I'll never forget where this all started with the Master Chief.

Dude I couldn’t have put it better. Sad how we can never hear that beautiful start up in halo 3 starting screen but we have that memory saved. I truly miss the “couch co-op” days, 4 way screen split screen and knowing all my mates will be online when I got back home from school. Sad how 20 years have changed yet it’s brought so many people together in the process. Love to all in the halo community 😊

Wasn’t even born when it first launched, but finally I moved out, mom was a Karen so she thought the whole “violent videogames make you shoot up school” so I didn’t play or watch any halo until 8 months ago when I first picked up the MCC. Haven’t put it down since. They are truly timeless games.

I was 10 years old at the time when my dad brought home an Xbox and a game called Halo. My mom had passed away a couple months earlier and he was doing his best to help get his three sons through a difficult time. Halo did just that and continues to be an escape when things get tough. Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3 were some of the best years of my life when life wasn’t always smooth sailing. Thank you for this.

Born 2005, this franchise raised me. I just loved playing it with my siblings and then later on discovering the lore etc. The games had beautiful music, atmosphere and stories with characters that will be remember for as long as all of our hearts beat. This franchise is Beauty, love from the UK.

I was 6 when I first played Halo combat evolved, it was 2011 and my dad had the original Xbox from Halo CE's launch date, when I loaded up the campaign and began Pillar of Autumn I knew then I had something special, it was the first game I ever completed. When Halo 4 was released I got the Xbox 360 on launch for Halo 4, I played 2, Reach, 3 and ODST on the 360 those were the best times. Halo 5 came out and I got the XBOX one with Halo 5 again on launch. Halo will always hold a special place in my heart as my favourite game series, Master Chief has been with me throughout my whole childhood helping me through thick and thin. I owe a lot to bungie and 343 industries for shaping my childhood and making it what it was. I love Halo and always will, as long as I live I will pass Halo down generations and make sure it lives on for as long as it possibly can. Thank you Halo for everything

Halo was the first shooter I enjoyed. I must have been about six, begging my mom to buy this cool looking game for in a second hand tech store. It was the PC copy of Halo CE. I sat next to my mom while she ran through the installation process, I was flipping through the pages looking at the cool, weird and mysterious pictures of the aliens. Man, what I would give to experience CE again for the first time

NGL this hit feels I didn’t know I had. Bringing back memories of when I played the games first times. Throwing the controller in the “library” in halo CE, Chief and Arbiter teaming up at the end of halo 2 and beginning of 3, Chief saving cortina from the Gravemind (not my favourite mission but best moment in the game), new enemies in halo 4 and the final scene with Chief and Cortana (dude i cried for frigging ages that day). There’s so many awesome and tearful memories shared by so many people and this video summed it all up. This game brought me out of some dark times and cannot express my gratitude to the creators and Martin O’Donnell for the incredible music. Love to all my halo bothers and sisters. May another 20 years of halo grow stronger 🙌

For us, the storm has passed. The war is over. But let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure...sacrifice, and unshakable conviction that their fight; our fight, was elsewhere. As we start to rebuild, this hillside will remain barren, a memorial to heroes fallen. They ennobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten

I didn't get to experience Halo first-hand. Even my friend beat me to it when Halo: CE came to PC. But I got my hands on an Xbox in 2005 or so. My journey with Halo started with Halo 2. I bought the steel case edition with the bonus disc. And since my friend was serving in the military at that time, I only watched that disc through and through because we were supposed to experience Halo 2 together as a team. He had experienced Halo: CE of course before me, but when I got my hands on it, we teamed up on it and went through it together. So many nights we spent sitting in my room drinking beer and playing. Throughout the years I think we completed Halo 2 atleast 3 or 4 times, can't remember for CE. And then my friend got Xbox360, so we got to experience Halo 3 together again. Loved those times! Now we're in a different situation, him having family and such, so now this Spartan rides solo through MCC. I've never got the possibility to experience anything beyond Halo 3, so I'm glad now that I can expand my experience on this marvellous saga. Already completed Reach and I loved it! The ending got me on the brink of tears. I felt Five's death strongly, but somehow after that I kinda knew they are all going to fall, so subsequent deaths didn't get me as hard... Until there was only one left. Do I get to experience Infinite? I don't know, it remains to be seen. But I eagerly wait the story ahead of me and will always cherish the memories this game has given me.

Let's remember this anniversary to build the community and teach the new generation of how competitive and creative spaces gaming are done. Let's bring the golden age back and better. Love it. Keep it up brother. Halo is life. My baby brother and I got back into it. Just spent the past two days updating his set up and gearing up. Gonna play as much as well can first priority after all the essential adulting everyday. He's exited and it makes me proud. Got him set on a nice chair, down down the best controller for his use, customized everything. Spent last week readying his whole computer reset, cleaned up and installed to play the game for yesterday. Just waiting on the new headset Sennheiser is dropping for gaming for him. Now to sit see if I need to play mouse or controller myself, he's had mine since last flight, so I didn't get to use it. I hope to play you all true fans and make competitive gaming good and wholesome again. Revitalize the community even stronger than it's hayday

The copy hadn't worked for years and there was no chance my mom would be able to replace it.
