Would like to know what bluetooth comtrol you used to answer calls. We have the standard headunit at the moment and the small touch screen isn't great. Hoping to upgrade in the future, but this may help us in the short term. Great walk through btw. Very informative 👍

Hey Gemma, thanks for the comment, I swapped out the standard headunit, with a pioneer double din which is the Bluetooth compatible unit I use to answer calls, the other thing I really rate is the Bluetooth/wireless steering wheel controls I bought off ebay for about $30.

Hi mate, cruiser loaded for a trip with myself, the wife and 3 kids is around 3.8 tonne, towing our van we are right on our GCM of 6850. With all water tanks in the van and car full and car full of diesel we are a touch over but we travel with van tanks full, and when we setup a base camp we use the car water storage to transfer water into van tanks and therefore stay legal. Would love a slight GCM upgrade to allow for us to take the tinnie, but doesn't seem possible post rego.
