@@johnathanforsythe Was just in this spot the other day online. I raised button with KK, villain flatted in the big blind with AQ offsuit. Flop is KJT. I bet, he raised, then I check-called my way to the river, which paired the board. All the chips go in the middle. I put him on the flopped straight. Not sure why he couldn't put me on a set or two pair. I would've folded had I not improved. He should've done the same when his hand got river-downgraded. Seems like Poker 101 to me, but... 🤷‍♂️

Wow, what a session!! One of the rare times Big Slick actually became a MONSTER!! I remember back over 20 year’s ago (before the boom and so much no-limit) when my 4-8 limit had a long wait and they asked me if I wanted a seat at 8-16 limit....... I shyly sat down with $150.00 and an hour later went to the cage with almost $1200.00! Which was a big deal in those days. The room was The Lucky Derby in Citrus Heights, CA which sadly is no more.

Nice work. I remember a day when I had only $65 left at table. In less than 60 minutes of play I grew that $65 to $2377. That's was unbelievable session. You should've seen the other players face on that table. They were stunned 😳 It happens once in a while. Especially, when you are not to worry about losing anything.

Nice run! I've been on a heater run myself lately. 7 sessions and my smallest win was 534$ largest 1855. My last session I had 3D4D in the cutoff. it was 15$ 5 ways to the flop. Flop was 3h 3s 2d. Checks around and I bet 25. 4 callers. Turn is 4 of h. Seat 6 bets 65 and I raise to 165. He calls. The river brings the Ace of clubs. He goes all in and I snap...he shows pocket 5s. I scoop a 750$ pot. Love those days! good luck going forward!

My best day ever was with pocket 10's too on the button. I got raised to like 40$ 3 way and flop came 10 10 6. First guy bet next guy raised and i just called all the way to the river guy looked at me and asked how much i had behind and i said like 500$ and he says " i guess I'm all in " he turned over pocket 6 6 for the flopped full house lol. Ended up buying in for 300$ that day and cashing out for about 2,900.

I really enjoy your videos. I like the pace and I like how you get right to the point. I think that's what poker players want to see. I especially like when you took the OMC money. It can be very hard to get. Act fast and don't give them time to think. Might be one of the few ways that you can get their money. By the way he slammed his hand on the table I could tell he was quite upset and probably left right after that hand. Love it. I once ran so hot on a 1/3 No Limit game that I cleared the entire table and busted every player in about two and a half hours. I also remember a Saturday morning $10 tournament where all the old-timers would show up hoping to get to the final table on one Buy in. Within the first hour I had several of them re-buying several times and smoke was coming out of their ears. I was winning nearly every hand and busting players left and right. You just don't forget those sessions because they are few and far between. Relish the moment and spend your earned money wisely.

good on you for improving your game and no longer showing your hands.. Only show if there's a reason, like showing you had it against a loose player so you can bluff them later, or show you bluffed against a tight player so you can play a hand the same way against them later when you have the nuts. Sometimes showing one card is a great way to influence your table image, but showing your cards by default is just free info for your table. You're growing pretty well. I enjoy watching your game mature, keep the videos comin!

When u catch a guy bluffing it's never a bad thing to just show your cards. Personally if he wouldn't turn his cards over or muck them I would have just shown him my 9 till he mucked as a little needle like you're willing to call him down really lightly. @G G do waiters and waitresses tip u after u eat? They are working regardless if u win or lose , I always tip the cashier when I buy in so even if I don’t cash out she still gets a tip. What’s $2-10 if u buy in for 2-300. You shouldn’t be gambling if you’re worried about a couple of dollars. That goes a long way for the cashiers.

Tipping at the cage is so ridiculous and you trying to tell him to do so is even more so. If you want to tip the cashier go for it, but they are getting paid enough to do their job. It’s the waitresses and waiters who work off the tips that deserve the tip.

That’s an unreal session. Running that hot is unusual. Congratulations. I live in the Portland Oregon area at all poker rooms were closed until this past Wednesday for about six months. I played Friday night, all they were spreading was 1-2. I bought in for 300 and left with $1003. I was running pretty hot, but not as hot as you did. That always feels great when you’re leaving with all those chips.

I've been playing 13 years and never had a cash game session like this. Congrats bud! I've actually lost my last 7 sessions in a row this year - each session averaged about 3 hours and this is no joke, but I have not had a hand better than 2 pair in any of those sessions (no flushes, no straights, no sets, no boats). Rungoods are so fun. I walked into the casino on a Friday afternoon one day and while waiting for a table played the penny slots. Ended up winning a max jackpot on the machine for $600, had put in $20. Changed from the 1/2 to the 2/5 game and proceeded to play a 42 hour session that ended with $4700 in my pocket. Probably the luckiest weekend of my life outside of getting married and having a kid. It almost feels surreal doesn't it?
