Hey bro for real that was some good information right there. You hit I think all the major stuff in the tear down. Just revers the process on installation. I think you just drop the mounting surface an inch or so on the instal of the hd bumper and shaving some material out of the corner portion of the core support area?

I have some questions for you. I don't have the Tahoe I have the Z71 off-road Suburban they're practically brother and sister. My front end was smashed pretty hardcore my frame is good my hood fenders bumper gone. It's a 03 is it the same front end as a Silverado. I like to upgrade it it would be considered totaled the problem is I just put a brand new engine and transmission in it it has a brand new front and rear end and it has a brand new transfer case so I really don't want to have to trash it. You just need the bumper brackets of an 03+, cut the suburban brackets off and bolt the cat eye brackets straight on

Fyi the front end is not 2003-2006 it is 2005-2007. The Hood and grille are different between 2003-2004 and 2005-2007.
