2000 Cadillac DeVille won't lock/unlock doors, not open trunk and gas tank! Solution!!!

followed the instructions in video and went to Ebay and ordered part for $30 brand new. Problem solved !! This was the only video I found on this problem. Thank you so Much for sharing information.

Hello from Romania 🇷🇴 My 2001 Cadillac Deville DTS ( the one with night vision version ) has a problem ! One of my plate number light it's broken, and i decide to change it! Verry simple to do. After replacing the little bulb, i was checking to see if it works, so i kept pushing the open button on the key, to see if lights up. It did not. Probably that litle thing of plastic were the bulb gets in, it's broken to. When i tried after that to lock the car from the key, nothing happend. No lights inside, the trunk and gas buttons don't work, te rear light when you put it in reverse don't work. The battery was old and to small for this engine, and after pressing that button so many times the baterry died. So i got a brand new one, 75 AH. I got the battery on, the car started right away. Next morning the car had no battery at all, and would only start with wires and get power from another car. After 3-5 houres, again nothing no power no nothing. Now to drive the car, i have to disconect the battery so IT would not drain IT ! What could it be, those modules or what else ?! Thanks in advance ! God Bless ✝️

Change the Rear Integration Module the problem probably is there my friend. Is behind the rear seat.

Thank you for the video! In my '02 DeVille, the interior lights, trunk release, cigarette lighter AND gas door release suddenly stopped working all at once! I thought it was just a couple of bad fuses, or the relay, but that wasn't it. I will investigate further. Maybe it is the OEM. Thanks again!

@@Jessicat76 ...I was wrong! We replaced the OEM (the Keyless Entry Module), NOT the Rear Integration Module! I'm such a dummy!! NOW we have to replace the Rear Integration Module, as Mr. Mendes said. And, yes, I've been having the same issues as you with all of the things that you mentioned, although I'm not sure about the air shock. I'm just wondering if the RIM has to be re-programmed after it's installed?

Thank you so much for your video.My brother just bought a 2000 cadi deville and when the guy delivered it we found that the door locks trunk and gas door didnt work.now we no why.Thank you.also the under dash on the driver's side is hanging down separated ut looks like add someone tried to reglue it back together. Why would that be apart fo you know? And the sevice engine light soon is on.also the exhaust is really bad.the smell omg.any thoughts he paid 4500.only saw pics not the car iui itself he purchased from a buyer from another state and the guy delivered it to my brothers fl home my brother is in ma.so I'm worried that the car has alot Of problems.so far these are the things I noticed when I went over to pull it in the garage for my brother.The car is beautiful mint inside and out.but I told my brother beauty dont run the car.any ideas about the things I told you about?Thank you

Check the button with multimeter like I did in the video and relay.

TRY THIS FIRST...UNHOOK BATTERY AND TOUCH THEM TOGETHER RESET ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS i couldnt touch mine they are rubber but simply unhooking both positive and negative and rehooking battery fixed everything (it should set off your anti theft alarm if you do it right) and everything will be reset

No, the problem was in the Rear Integration Module located behind the rear seat and to remove the rear seat you use a flat head screw driver and push down 4 clamps pull off one by one.....
