LOOOVE S&C. Also one thing that really irritated me with this storyline was that everyone around Carly kept looking at her crazy when she expected more from a man. I completely understood her point of view. I would want a man to want me for me and not just because I was pregnant or was the contingent for him being free. When she voices these concerns they just basically tell her that she's too ambitious with what she wants in a relationship, as if she doesn't deserve better.

Someone mentioned Carly's feelings about what she wants and people watching her as if she was crazy.....I agree with the comment about her being entitled to love and happiness but Carly was her own worse enemy....as much as I respected her, and her choice to go for what she wanted, she was flaky and if you didn't tie or strap her down she would terrorize to townsfolk.....unfortunately she needed guidance.....also what Bobbie said about Sonny being there for her was correct.

why didnt they ever consider the possibility of her not leaving the country without jason, this show (and most) have such patriarchal based narratives. why are her options centered around men, why couldnt bobby have said "no dont marry sonny, why dont we leave the country together as a family", i mean she is the only one in port charles who carly is tied to other than jason and sonny
