dude thanks for the shout out! that thing sound great, you should notice a mid range HP increase, around 20-25 HP, and especially high rpm, that's what a buddy came up with on the dyno when I switch from manifold to headers, it's not a lot but get every bit you can, also make sure you keep plug wires up and away from the headers, they will melt the wires quickly, even with the header wrap. hope they last you a few years, keep up the improvements, can't wait till the next Project.

Did the shorties make a worthwhile difference in power and performance over manifolds? I have a mildy built 5.9 trying to decide if I want shorties or long tubes. Longs seem like a hassle but I want the power.

You should do richmond 4.10 gears with a transgo performance shift kit, my 3.9l v6 has this two mods and beats a 4.0 mustang that has k/n cold air intake and sct tune

A 4.10 is too tall to take it on longer trips like I do. The 3.55 fits the bill perfectly. It was built to give it a bit more power without sacrificing too much mileage. Also a shift kit would probably been ok but it is a 5 speed manual.

Devin Macdonald it is a .501 lift cam on the intake and exhaust and 224* duration at .050 lift. keep in mind it is a flat tappet cam, so you'll need to clearance the pushrod holes slightly and get longer pushrods. That lift is also on the 1.6 rockers, so on a 1.5 rocker (what the lift will be advertised) it is .470 lift.

Devin Macdonald if it helps you I think I got some 7.550 inch long pushrods for it, but mine has been decked and the heads have been shaved. 20-214-4 is the part number for the camshaft.

Devin Macdonald honestly no. It will start to wear down the pushrods. It didn't take much with mine.

cmrnbalzer24 it is a single 3 inch in to a dual out Flowmaster super 44 muffler. Also the catalytic converter has been deleted.

Heads were shaved .020", block has been decked to an almost zero deck height, 26 lb injectors, 52 mm throttle body, and a .501 lift cam installed.
