2000 Honda Civic Si EM1 - Spoon Brakes | KW V3 Coilovers | RegaMaster | Tanabe Exhaust (Episode 2)

In this episode of this series, we will be upgrading this 2000 Honda Civic Si with some tasteful modifications. First we started off with a set of KW V3 Coilovers, followed with a set of Spoon Sports 4-piston Calipers, Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Stoptech slotted front and rear brake rotors, 16" RegaMaster Evo Wheels and Falken Azenis Tires.
Full stainless steel Revel cat-back exhaust system from Tanabe, Type-R valve cover along with Chasing J titanium hardware, adjusting the ride height, bleeding the braking system by flushing the fluid and finished off with a 4-wheel alignment.

not sure if you see those little yellow dots on the tires, but that is where you're supposed to line the valve stem up with those. it helps when balancing the tire....not a lot of professionals know about that.

Have that same exact brake bleeder bottle. Highly recommended product. Single man bleeding is so simple with it. Works just like speed bleeders but unlike speed bleeders, this bottle doesn't rust and corrode.

Nice! I like the ride height and beefy tire setup. Must be because I am an old codger who bought a new '99 back in the day when I was 36. (I'll let you guys do the math) Stock those things looked like 4 x 4 pickups, so you have to keep that in mind. This drop gives it a nice even distance around the tire perimeter. Will make it much more usable on steep driveways and entrances into parking lots. I think at this stage in life, I would have left it all stock, but you have to give this customer credit for having the extra cash for these very tasteful JDM upgrades. BTW, Mike was obviously under the weather and noticeably missing for most of the video. Hope you feel better soon, Mike!
