In the video I also changed all the coolant lines for peace of mind as summer is pretty much here and those triple digits are right around the corner. I want to start driving the sedan so I can start getting some work done on the CRV.

That's sweet. Bet it feels so much nicer than a stock engine. I've been thinking of doing a cheap B20 swap just for some better engine response and probably better MPGs also

I feel like my auto y7 doesn't get great mpg's, just ok. I've tracked it for just over 2k miles on fuelly.com and it averages 25. The sohc seems to struggle a bit. The b20 wouldn't struggle at all and probably net me the same mpg's, maybe a little better being standard.

I need to put new videos up, I guess. The car used to be an automatic D15. Now has a manual with a K24A2 from a TSX and a 6 speed LSD transmission. I've done Hush Performance hydro conversion with pedal brackets, Hondata, Rywire tucked engine harness, Hybrid Racing conversion harness, Hybrid Racing no cut shifter box (still had to cut FYI.), tucked the wires from the entire engine (fusebox, headlights, horns,etc.), KTuned AC & PS delete, cheap Ebay track bar that I welded reinforcement gussets to, DC5 Creations battery relocation billet aluminum box, etc.

Dude! Love your channel. Hey video idea. Have you thought about doing a stock brake upgrade? There’s several options available. You mentioned you wanted to do rear disks, maybe you can do the mini front disk with tsx pads and the crv calipers? Anyway just an idea, this may be overkill for this car.

hella flush! looks great. where do you buy your aftermarket parts from? need some bolt on parts for a 2007 honda fit. perhaps intake/header/exhaust, some lowering springs or coilovers etc

I would say don't throw the rear mudflaps, I would say check and see if they would fit a hatchback. I been looking for some for my ek hatch.

@Garage Built Hondas how much of a drop is that. Lot really clean. We have have the same car, same color, same tint except mine is a DX. I just put new 2000 SI wheels with 205/50 R15 Hankook Ventus V2. I’m looking to drop it next but I don’t want it too low which is why I asked how many inches did you drop it cuz I like the way yours looks. The lowering springs I’ve found are most 2.5” front and 2.0” rear and that for my car is probably going to be lower than I like not to mention anything over 2” I’ll have to get a camber kit. Your car will look sweet with some smoke rear twilights and front headlights in smoke. Just did that with mine as well as front and rear bumper lips. I’m trying to keep mine as original as possible. Only thing I don’t like about it too much is that it’s automatic but hey I got it 4 years ago from an old lady with 67,898 original miles and I have 81,765 miles on it now. Car is clean asf. I had people wanna buy it when I first bought it and still till this day I run into someone that wants to buy it but I’m not parting with it.

I don't know how much it lowered the car. I never use lowering springs, only coilovers as I prefer the adjustability of coils. You can measure you car to see how much it'll be from the top of your tire to your fender.

I have a 98 civic lx sedan that I bought from a old gentleman, 97k miles about 7 months ago(June 2022) took it to Utah/New Mexico & all over Arizona, looking in on tinting lowering & wheels soon. Sits at 112250 now it’s a absolute beast of a daily, I miss my 95’ Accord 4-door… had of boosted & beat a zl1 that was procharged lol

The mudflaps are probably for a coupe or something. Alldayanthony had a simmilar issue, he got ebay mudflaps for his EK coupe and the rears didn't fit because they were for an EG

I saw in another video on the swap that I would have to depin a wire and move it to another pin but didn't explain it well do you know which wires I'm talking about? Is that the iacv wiring? And with the transmission I have the option from an EX Civic 5 speed from D16Y7 or a 5 speed from a D15Y5 I believe, which is a better tranny? I'm not building a race car but will boost as soon as I'm done with the manual swap.

I'm unsure about the wiring, you may want to continue researching that. I also couldn't tell you which transmission would be better for boost. I don't own any boosted Hondas so I don't have much to offer.

I have the same exact car it overheated on me and I replaced the radiator thermostat and head gasket.The car still over heats so I’m not sure what it can be I want to one day still drive it agin.
