My porsche 996 did not pass the Maryland state inspection cause the previous owner has these lights you put on. Turns out that the amber color is necessary. It must display or reflect amber color. Thanks for the video. I will make the change myself.

Well, I am doing just the opposite. Remove the clear reflector lights and replace with amber reflectors. Delaware requirement.

Thanks, they actually activate sequentially, and it is possible to connect them to the turn signal wire and they will flash with the signals. I have since sold my 911, so I cannot provide further info on how to accomplish this, but it should just be a matter of tracing the connection to the headlight unit (as the turn signal is housed there) then "teeing" of the turn signal wire. Did you have to wire up a blinker wire modification? My side marker lights on 2001 911 turbo don’t blink. I have read that there’s a modification to make them blink. Just curious
