@Holden Bosket only thing that could hold back skylon is the engines or more specificly the intercoolers, but it got past that stage and the intercooler works, we may see skylon soon but first we got lapcat to come first and a rocket carrier before that

It's really not that hard to model spaceships in software like 3DMax, Blender or Maya. They have a lot of tools to create and deform standard shapes, and these planes/spaceships/etc. BFS design probably took no more than 3-4 hours of work (please correct me if I'm wrong) it only gets tricky when you have to make organic shapes, like moving characters, or complex structures. I can imagine the ISS took 95% of the total work involved with this video, since that thing is so damn irregular and complex.

The radiator panels in the ISS shouldn't be facing the sun. Also the east and west solar arrays are with different inclinations...

Having reusable rockets makes it way cheaper since you basically just pay for fuel to fly to space plus some other maintenance but think of how much use could come of huge tubes like the BFR tbey could be converted into a space station or moon base pretty feasible I think there's another good idea about sending a machine to build bricks out of moondust to build out of like how they have machines that can lay streets by themselves I'm sure tbey could come up with a brick making machine in space....

no, it doesn't fly like Space Shuttle the Wings are only for Mars to Aerobrake in its Atmosphere they are not designed to create lift.

@@GeffenAvraham I mean the one weird looking - little stubby spaceplane with a drum like orbital propulsion unit at the back. If memory serves that was jettisoned prior to reentry. Not fully reusable concept. It is shown for a second at 2:05 . Kliper is dead now. Replaced with the Federation capsule which is still ways away.
