You should review a 1st gen Lightning if you can find one Fun fact: SVT was working on a 3rd gen F150 Lightning, but they found that they were unable to top the performance the 2nd gen had to offer, so they scrapped the project. As a result, the badass offroad machine known as the RAPTOR, was brought into existence.

This is a cool truck for sure, but I would definitely take the Raptor over this one in terms of special/unique trucks. The only thing visually I don't like about the truck is the alteeza-style taillights. Other than that, it looks really friggin sweet! Great review as usual Kyle!

I miss that damn truck so much! One reason Ford built this truck is probably (uh, I said "probably") due to people complaining that the F-150 of this generation (which I like) was "too pretty to be a truck". So it seemed to make sense to turn an otherwise workaholic truck like the F-150 of this design (though not the first Lightning) into a tire melting muscle truck; and voila! The Lightning!
