Good video but I've always heard (at 2:45) that you should support the caliper by hanging it up to the coil spring or something (or support it on a upturned bucket from below if the car is only on jackstands and not too high off the ground). Otherwise, if that brakeline hose breaks or comes loose and the fluid comes out and you introduce air into the system, you've just added a lot more work to your job.

Yes but these lines are not that weak and if they brake just by this light caliper then weak line glad it happned here than on road

Good Vid. But don't let the caliper hang by the brake line. Use zip tie, metal hanger, or put it on a box.

Would it help to open the brake fluid reservoir before compressing the caliber to allow the fluid/air to go somewhere? Same when pumping the brake pedal?

It good ideas to remove the cap when pushing piston but when pumping brakes u don’t need to it is designed to vent air to pump brake peddle

I have a 2000 ES300 and my rear brake caliper will not slide off. It wiggles around but will not slide off. I removed the 17mm and then tried to slide it off the bracket but it just won’t come off. Any fix for that?

Are you asking about what he shows around 2:40-2:43 on the video? If yes, I got the same problem. No solution so far, and I can't install new pads either on that wheel.

My caliper will not come off, the top slide pin is stuck. Recommended removal?

U can try to heat it but these r usully disaster I would replace the caliper
