2001 Nissan Pathfinder Swirl Control Valve Testing

2001 Nissan Pathfinder with a P1130 swirl control valve code. Testing the solenoid and the swirl control valve itself.

I'm glad it helped. I couldn't find anything that helped very much so I wanted to see if I could put something out that might help. I did figure out how to get the valve out if it needed to be changed. Once you remove the top two pieces of the intake manifold you can unbolt the bottom piece of the manifold and the valve is attached to that part.

I just use a Android tablet. Most scan tools are Android based. I recently purchased a Thinkcar Platinum S10 Pro and it is Android based.

so what did you do to fix it?

This vehicle was at three different shops over the span of six months before I got it and it is still a work in progress. I have no idea what has been done to it and when I get one thing fixed, I find something else. I do know that one of the shops cut the catalytic converters off and sold them. They told the owner they were plugged. Once I get is all squared away I will make a video covering all I had to do to get everything fixed.
