Nowadays XM has a app on phone to listen to. Just plugged phone into cars auxiliary line in, if car has one & there you go. Another good thing is some cars have XM built in already. A lot of great channels especially The Beatles channel 24/7.

Where do you put the big black wire on the install kit?

that's ground, you can attach it to the metal behind the radio, or you can just leave it, unplugged, the radio antenna acts as Ground as well.

My radio requires an opening that is 7 inches wide, by four inches high, would I be able to install that radio in the PT cruiser?

is the factory radio a single Din or double Din ?
