hi! i'm replacing my motor mounts and your videos have been really helpful but sadly there is no one for the rear! did you ended up changing it too? i tough it would be the easiest but seems like by far the worst! do i really need to drop the cross member or is it possible to take the mount off from the top? anyway thank you very much!

P Se yes, a lot of the kits online come with all 4 motor mounts. For all 4 mounts it's anywhere from 90 to 120 dollars.

Hey Can I use my Impact gun To remove the Big bolt in the Middle

mizzswagger713 yeah if you can fit the impact gun in that small space, it should be fine. Just be ready for the engine to move a little bit when you pull the long bolt through the engine mount

mizzswagger713 "lefty loosy" applies in this situation haha when I use my impact wrench I always pull the trigger for just a second to make sure it's spinning the direction I want it to go before I put in on the bolt

does the mounting different in 1.3 and 1.8 engine?

Unfortunately the book I have only covers the 1.8 engine because I don't believe they sold the 1.3 engine in America (at least in 2001). So I don't have an answer for you, however pop the hood and see if the engine mounts are in the same place. There's fairly easy to find. Best of luck!

wish there was some explanation why the rubber triangle on the mount goes on the radiator side. If it torques, doesn't it drive into the fan? (as opposed to fetching up on the motor if it was turned around the other way)

Symone Dillard once you have the bolt undone it came out pretty easy for me. It just pulls straight through

Symone Dillard so you need to have the engine supported and even lift it a few millimeters. If you have that done and the nut is off the bolt, try tapping it through with a hammer and screw driver real lightly, but remember the engine must be supported with a block of wood like I show in the video
