Hello guys hope i can help, just been on the forrum and it says it could be a clogged up Catolic converter, O2 sensors or throttle position sensor. Hope this helps guys good luck

I have the same issue with my 2000 323i. Car runs well except when it hits a bump on the road and EMP, DSC, Brake, ABS and a sign next to D (Drive, Automatic Transmission?) signs show up briefly with some clicking sound, then all signs clear out. The car run well after that. Any suggestion? EML: Engine Management light, DSC: Dynamic Stability control, ABS: Antilock Break System. Later: I turned the DSC button off as suggested here, but still the issue is there.

I have a 2004 BMW 325i and it's doing the same thing when I'm driving at higher speeds these 3 lights come on and it's like it goes in a safe or limp mode,, I turn it off and its fine,, but i know that ain't right,, when u find out the problem plz post a video, I have the creator C310+ scanner and it's not saying what the problem is

throttle position sensor . & clean the throttle bottle plates with throttle bottle spray cleaner . try that , if doing that dont fix the issue check the pedal

it's me. I'm back it was not the exhaust sensor on the passenger side front😂😂😂😂😂... I haven't had a chance to change it as of yet but I'm pretty sure that it is the ABS speed sensor in the rear. On the passenger side. Why do I believe this is the problem???? Because that little triangle light in the center.... for the ABS... brake system. And the speed sensor. Both combined the ABS brake system and the speed sensor are control by One sensor on the back of the car which is on the passenger side.1 real You can clean One sensor or change both senses I am going to change both sensors on the back of my vehicle passenger and Driver to alleviate the problem completely. But you do not have to change him you can just get away sometimes with just cleaning the two rear sensor

Did you figure it out? I got EML light in my Bmw X3 but doesn’t start or making any sound. My last option is tow to Bmw dealership ,diagnostics and towing the car already like $300-400 just to know what’s wrong..I had coolant leak day before. I replaced the hose , try jumpstart the car, disconnect battery, spare key, and reset the maintenance, nothing worked still just dash lights EML not the two other you got just EML.

Try this, put your headlights on, at night if you're alone, turn the ignition key to start the car and watch the lights..do they dim out to off or do they stay bright..dim lights means a weak or bad battery...lights stay bright then it's a starter

It was the starter , tow a way my car to stealership $1200 ,$200 was to tell me it’s starter $400 part , $600 labor which takes 1 h when they lift the car and do it from underneath the engine,but charged me for 3 h labor. Horrible! Than 2 days later car didn’t start again for some reason, but now ok . Also I stated at the BMW dealership that it has coolant leak they said yes and for $1200 couldn’t even tell me where !! They just gave me the car with new starter back with coolant leak and I have to take it other place to check where it leaks for $100 so I can buy the part and fix my self . I think I’m better off buying $50 coolant pressure testing kit and do all my self than pay for repear more than car worth. The $1200 starter repear and new tires $800 i got was $2000 . I tried to trade my car at the Bmw and was offered $2000 for my 100k mercedes back in 2007 now I’d expect at least 10k but they offer was on 36k car just take my car to pay of the taxes also I checked Kelly blue book for the 36k car dealership sale price was 29k so they already overpriced 7k and would take my mercedes for $2000 which I paid just for the rims 10k ... horrible overpricing!! Better fix your self and sell your self and buy car from private seller...

From a Great BMW service manager I know , the problem is in the Throttle Actuator or Throttle Plate..the car idle should also surge up and down..I personally have not changed mine yet, looking for the best price since it is 17 years old..

Sold it, it started to have other electrical problems like sunroof and power door locks working on and off, suspected a module but the module has to match the locks and keys..

Car is Sold...but like the comments stated a BMW supervisor had told me its in the throttle plate or throttle body..it needs to be replaced...

@@laloortiz7312 in already change TB icv maf and i still get same problem i got code p1500. Then i check connection bitwen maf and dme i found some pin lose. I think it make bad connection and trigger that error

Sold it..started to have door lock problems that needed a module and a sunroof problem that would work for several months and then not work..then all of a sudden it works..too many issues and the car was getting older in mileage

My secondary air pump broke and out of know where these same 3 lights came on and my car was lagging .... next day they didn’t turn on and car was running fine can my broken SAP maybe be the cause of that ?

You have a bad body control module bud as far as the locks and sunroof the DSC light is more than likely a rear speed sensor/abs sensor they are cheap and super easy to do best place to start less than 40$ for both rears 90% will fix the problem and could be steering presure sensor need calibration that will have to be done by a shop but there is no "special BMW" scanner they have snap on and other companies make ones that will read every car made and work all systems from body to chassis to ABS and Traction systems so find a shop that looks clean nice and has some nicer european cars there and ask nicly if they can give you and estimate on fixing the codes you have they will write up a work scope or estimate for the work and use that to fix it yourself! Using......youtube!!!! Boom cheap and easy

If you have a problem with your BMW 3 Series I strongly recommend that you find a way to repair it yourself... why do I feel this way??? Because all auto mechanics or,. Full of s***... if you take your car to an auto mechanic they will see what type of concern you have for the vehicle... by telling you if it was their car they would not waste the time fixing it.. They are not showing concern for you or the vehicle.. this is a tactic to see how much money you are willing to spend on the vehicle...... once they find out. they will tell you to turn around and bend over so they can f*** the s*** out of you.. that's why I say all auto mechanics of full of s***... do not trust any auto mechanic I don't give a fuk who it is.. never leave your car at an auto mechanic shop. The last time I did that they stole my brand new Monroe shocks absorbers from my car and put some b******* shocks on my car.

@@alyoungcuda I'm imagining the reason for that issue could be as simple as,and usually it's the rear abs sensors that would make the light come on on its own. Crud and surface rust build up where the abs reads on the end o drive shafts, and if it can't read it well it will throw it on. Also, I had a car that needed abs sensor, and abs light and dsc lights stayed on, and my abs didn't work. Would lock up if I tried to stop with any excitement.

And changing or cleaning the abs sensor area is something you can do yourself, better with a friend. Unless you have more money than me...you will have a shop do it

I'm pretty sure your eml has nothing to do with dsc light. You have more than one problem. Like me with mine. You know to actually turn off the dsc TCS, you must hold the button in for 3-5 seconds. When I do I he two lights. I get another orange light that says brake, in the right lower area on the instrument panel.

Quick question. My 323i was just driving fine one morning. Parked it 6hrs later i started the car and the traction control light was in amd along with the gear and the ( ! ) inside the gear light was on as well. And running on 4 gear. I replaced the passenger rear abd/speed sensor. Any idea what made the two lights comes on for?

you have a bad relay, needs new wiring harness! expensive, Not worth it. good you got rid of iT!! :) or also it could be your front or rear brake sensors. that would throw the yellow circle light.

Brake sensors would of threw on the light or not show up on the live data on the scanner as reading..but yes they have electrical gremlins...
