I have a 2002 Chevy Impala and my fuse box is on drivers side and the fuse that the diagram shows for cigarette lighter is only one fuse and nothing is wrong with it, but it still wont work. I was wondering if there is a second fuse on this fuse box also? And I don't know if this matters but when my lighter did work only the lighter socket on the right side of the ashtray worked not the one on the left. Thank you

My car is different, in that it only has one cigarette lighter in the slide out ash tray. That being said, my driver side fuse was fine when the lighter stopped working a few days ago because of an air compressor. There is another fuse in the passenger fuse box for the lighter, and it turned out that that was the blown one. Hope this helps.

I have a question related to the power outlets. Mine is a 2001. Is there any simple way to have these not draw power when the car is off? They stay on all the time and I recently got an Android Auto unit I wanted to use (its not one that hardwires in) but I dont want it on all the time and having to unplug it everytime I shut the car off kinda sucks. Probably a dumb question but is there any easy solution to make the power kill with the engine? Thx
