I'm assuming the NBC feeds were timed slightly different. Cuz I remember seeing that bumper cam of Harvick before commercial and it showed Gordon going low, but it stayed live long enough to show Harvick wiggle from the contact. I said to my dad at his Daytona 500 party that they were wrecking when it went to commercial. And they immediately cut back from commercial and there it was...

what jrfan said. The COT certainly helps keeps a car from breaking completely loose, however, you still have to realize, when you bunch a lot of cars up, and someone starts spinning, that wing aint gonna help you out much.

I remember this wreck quite well. Having seen what is in this video, just as they go to commercial, I knew exactly what happened before I even saw the replay. Harvick threw the block on Gordon's big run once, then a second time. I dunno about you, but that late in the Daytona 500, I don't think any other driver would do any different than what Gordon did. Harvick is equally at fault for putting himself into that position.
