I just bought a not running 540 at auction with the same issue. I was assuming it was a fuel issue but all that checked out. Looks like it hit something (bumper mangled, sucks cause it’s an m sport car but not my first fiberglass and bondo job when I get around to it) and I wonder if this would solve it. O2 sensor was yanked out as well, but it has a modified exhaust judging by how it sounds for the brief second it starts. if this fixes it I will forever be indebted to you lmao

@@BurninGas8.1I just tested the ground wire off the maf, it’s showing ~11V. I’m gonna try it now if I can find a piece of wire laying around and see if it works👍

@@BurninGas8.1it was the fix. Runs and has throttle again. No codes anymore either. Thank you for this video, you saved my ass several hundred in repairs or possibly more if I ended up going to a stealership

Where is the idling control Valve located on this vehicle, i’m kinda having the same thing, both rear o2 sensors are cut, and i’m getting a mas airflow sensor code, but the car shuts off right after startup if i don’t rev it( aka keep the rpm’s high)

If it’s dbw it’s all in throttle body if it’s cable throttle should be a silver round cylinder right by throttle body

Yeah so car starts and I have to stay on gas’s to keep on , if not it will stall out should I do this , I started it one time it started surging back and forth as well , which wire is the ground
