2002 Harley sportster 1200 speedo fix

I have a 01 Sporster. My issue is that my speedo arm just doesnt move. Miles display but doesnt go up. I have a sensor read d05. You think it can be the regulator? Pervious owner said when he charged it he crossed the terminals on the battery and after that the speedo stopped working.

Chasing the speedo gremlin on my 883R. At least I know it’s not the regulator. TWD

mine is fucked up to lol drive like 3 miles and it put like 9 miles on it
