Thanks, saved me a lot of hassle. Car was running fine untill i didn't pay attention to it not being in park when I went into the store. Must have happened before because the cap was already removed. 3 seconds and I was driving.

Underneath the shifter where your right knee would be. Also there’s another fuse box under the hood next to the battery just pop off the lid to the fuse box.

Check your fuses. If fuses are fine then your shift interlock has to be replaced. This video just shows how to bypass the shift interlock when it won’t release the gear shift.
