2002 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 - Cold Start Carven R Series

(Cold Start)
Recently installed a Carven R Series exhaust on my 2002 2500HD. Truck is a 6.0 and only other “mod” is a S&B intake. Not too many videos out there for different exhaust set ups so I thought I would start with the Carven and get a few months of driving/towing to hear different exhaust notes, this was a cold start the day after install.
Thinking of posting more videos that go more in-depth and are a little longer in length. If there are any suggestions please leave a comment and let me know what else you would like to see/hear!

That small pause after the starter stops and then the engine starting is gnarly 😩

Thanks! I had an exhaust shop make these ones for me but I know black widow has a nice kit and it sounds really good too. How is the drone inside the cab? I’m looking for a cat back system, but I don’t need it too loud.

So originally I had the Carven R and I used a Y pipe to make it a single outlet and with the stock headers and cats it sounded good. Really mellow at idle and low rpm’s and throaty under load or wide open throttle. However once I deleted the cats and put shorty headers I got a lot of drone and raspy sound. I added two resonators and an Xpipe but it still kinda drones and has raspy sound at certain rpm’s. Hope this helps
