@@Saddlebags73 I properly sorted the suspension on my sv650 just because I hated the wallowing it was giving me in the canyons. 05 gsxr1k front end with 09 r1 oem brembo master cylinder, and an 06 ninja 636 rear shock. it was actually difficult to upset it's suspension after that upgrade.

I was going to buy this bike the other day.. Out here in Los Angeles.. 22k miles on it, beautiful.. Same year.. Guy wanted $2300 US for it. So I go look at it.. He brings it out, starts it up, and it immediately coughs... So he has to rev it from shutting off it seemed like...So he revs it, warms it up.. Then he takes it up and down the block a few times, it sounds and moves AMAZING !!! He brings it back to the curb, parks...let's it idle.. Then that bike started acting WEIRD !!! It did not sound like a normal idle. Seemed like it twitched, or glitched. Like an irregular heartbeat.. High and low.. Once he shut it off, I looked around the bike again, still in GREAT shape, beautiful...but then I saw like neon blue / green caked on coolant on the bottom area of the bike, like a leak of some sort that hardened. I dunno, I really wanted the bike but those two issues made me walk away....

Plenty more fish in the sea! Anyone would have walked i reckon!
@Bliss_VR64 жыл бұрын
Also keep in mind, these things are rather simple to fix up! I just bought a 2001 as my first bike at 23k miles and its had it's small cosmetic issues (understandable at 19 years old) but I love it. And that weird idle is cause the bike has to warm up a good bit especially if it's been cold out. And it'll jump a bit during the warming process. Once it gets to temp the idle should calm down and you can close the choke.
