Anna had a great all court game and was very athletic, but just couldn’t get past her nerves and win any tournaments
@zacharyhall1441 Жыл бұрын
What nerves she made all that money because of her looks...and I do not blame her..because if I look super handsome and made millions on endorsements then the sport I played..then I would have played half ass like kounrnikova did...if she would have put in more hard work and effort her results would have been way better..what a beauty but she was a big loss.

40 errors this match. Seems like she didn’t want to be there and/or was injured.

No wonder the crowd were booing.... How does someone win a match at all with a winner: unforced error rate of 1:17, never mind win a match 3 and 0? Oh yeah, when your opponent hits 40 unforced errors in a 44minute match.

Bisa2nya angie membantai anna kournikova😮
@s.w.d4010 Жыл бұрын
Anna hit the ball extremely flat & hard and that is really tough to beat when that style of player is doing everything right. However, it’s also very risky. Without the proper foot work or nerves that style of play can produce a lot of errors. The Williams Sisters hit hard & flat. BUT when they were on the defense or in trouble they learned to hit with more topspin, while Kournikova did not.
@vixter33Ай бұрын
Flat game or not, Kournikova just sucked at this particular stage of her career. If I'm not mistaken, she lost in the first round of four Slams in a row.

Anna was gorgeous but hopeless singles player
@dybbuk2223 жыл бұрын
She was a Wimbledon semifinalist and top 10 player who had wins over the likes of Graf and Davenport. Only under the most bizarre definition of "hopeless" does Anna qualify. This match is from the twilight of her career when she'd been struggling with injury and loss of motivation. It is not an example of how good a player she actually was.
