This is getting me so excited. My 2006 g35 has a transmission leak and you’re making me feel a lot more confident that fixing this won’t be a huge deal. Thankfully I found a trustworthy mechanic that isn’t charging an arm and leg for diagnosis as to where it’s leaking. And he is gonna fix my power steering leak too. Also, videos like these help me ensure I don’t get fooled or scammed by less trustworthy mechanics who assume I don’t know shit about transmissions. More videos on the infiniti g35 please 😍

As a Nissan tech this is highly entertaining. Had a versa with the same issue. By the way the bolts are supposed to get torqued to 70in so great job on the estimate.

How to I torque it like that without a torque wrench

Whats a gasket? No silicone? Bigger the glob better the job. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the vid.

I have a 2015 Infiniti q70 with 90k miles it’s been extremely reliable and I’ve kept up with all the maintenance. However last year the driver door lock stopped working and I took it to Nissan under my extended warranty and they diagnosed it as a door lock actuator and replaced it. Just two weeks ago it happened again and it’s the same thing the driver side only door lock actuator went out. Do you have an idea if anything else could be causing it?
@RustBeltAuto2 жыл бұрын
I would test the actuator by its self. Sounds like a warranty issue.

I would re-use the old ones, but he got them new. I don't think they are anything special. Probably grade 8.
