Respect the fact that it’s all original. Leave it alone and preserve it as is. Just enjoy the fact you have an all original cobra.

Hell no. They can be improved upon so much with minor modding to me it's crazy to leave a car with this much potential stock. A nicely modified one is way cooler than a stock one. To each their own.

2.8 pulley, long tubes, k/n intake, old school diable hand held map. Been like this since 2007. 100% happy. Spent under 1k on mods. Beat so many cars with this and 0 - 160 under 30 seconds.

My first Terminator was as close to stock as I got. It had an X pipe tune and catback and that was it. My time with it it received a full return fuel system and a VMP Gen3R ( and lot of other stuff ). The one I have now came with long tubes X pipe and bassani exhuast. I was thinking of just doing a ported Eaton but I knew it wouldn't be enough in the end so I did the 2.3 whipple and once the pumps are done it will sit close to 700 with the final tune. Its at the perfect street power for these IMO its such a fun car to drive at that power level and it hits so hard down low with the 2.3. I think people if possible should enjoy these cars with aftermarket blowers. Ford gave us these cars with forged internals and driving a blower swapped Terminator VS a Eaton with a pully or ported ( or both ) is such a different experience. Uncorking all that power just sitting there is a rush.

@Lethal_Venom couldn't have said it any better myself brother. I heard those 2.3s make great power and torque

Couldn’t agree more. I had one for 5 years. Modding is an addiction to me. I wound up selling mine and bought a 2012 GT500 bone stock. Here we go again.

I would leave it as is. Enjoy it as it came from the factory. It sounds really nice. When you need tires just get some bigger ones for the back but keep the original rims.

The red fire looks much better with the factory spoiler vs that carbon one

@UnderPsi5.0 totally agree. Especially because of the fitment on it. But it flows way better too.

Had my cobra since 2006 with 11k miles and i modded it 1 time around 15k miles as follows 2.8 pulley $100, bbk full length headers $500 k/n air intake $200 used diablo $250 tuner. Its runs perfect. It is the perfect setup 0-160 in 29 seconds. 68k hard miles. Its the most reliable car ive owned.

@semitrailertechnician4926 that's honestly a really fun setup . Pretty much my other cars were that.

Bought mine 8yrs ago from the original owner with 68,000 on the clock who bought it in 2004, and I will say Chris, I feel like I caught a unicorn. They def getting harder and harder to come by finding an all original 03,04 terminator. Leave it stock Chris.

I sold my Terminator three years ago, and I still have a bunch of parts. If you ever need a rear ABS wheel sensor, I got one and let me tell you those are hard to find

I was a car salesman at a Ford dealership in 2003. I remember how bad ass these were brand new. What's shocking to me is how bare bones the interior is compared to today's standard. Back then, didn't know any different
@chris_03svt2 ай бұрын
I think the time period had a lot to do with that. Especially by what a GT comes with today.
