Jimmy Spencer leading in that 7 car was pretty impressive.

It sucked. 1 lane, follow the leader on the bottom. But boomer Gen X nostalgia is what matters right, you remember it being better just because it was your time.

59:10 I don't know how many voted but that result shows that for years many fans have been wanting more short tracks.

and then they finally added one in 2022...and then fans bitched about it ...yet looked the other way when they took one away the year before....weird

This is my favourite race track of all-time! The NOSSCAR drivers love racing here. It's definitely an action track.

Even thought other drivers won poles that year, it felt at times a bit surprising when Ryan Newman didn't capture a pole in 2003. I mean, 11 poles? With this new qualifying format, we'll never see anything close to Newman's pole dominance again.
@NotSteveCook3 жыл бұрын
Also, given Roush's subpar performance over the last several years, it's highly unlikely The Rocketman will be on the Pole again. But I remember when he was most often the favourite in qualifying.

That strategy almost worked out for Harvick.. He’d have needed a yellow later than it happened, but he’d have been the leader by a good ways..

2:53:00 i think he hurt his back / shoulder..... . it looks like the seat's left side head "pad" dug into his back/shoulder because he didnt hesitates.... then sits back down...... and then has his hands in a wired "way".... . almost like he was going to grab his shoulder / back...... but knows that if he did that on TV..... it would not look good

2:52:55 that REALLY puts Dale Jrs crash in perspective (the one where people think his dad/god helped pull him from the car) . now, like anything, im sure you get quicker at it with practice..... especially if you are on fire but that seat takes up half the room......

2:48:46 ive never understood how the outside car will just stay planted and the inside car just bounces off like a "super bounce" ball . even in the video game....NASCAR racing 2003.... the same thing happens . i try to wreck someone like Dale..... and just end up giving him a "boost".... and wrecking myself inside, outside, front tire, rear tire.... he stays planted..... and i bounce off and ping-pong the outside and inside walls like 11 times . . . . . also.... if you like video games / simulators and ya like NASCAR and ya also have a force feed-back steering wheel...... download nascar 2003 (its free.... as its so old, no one will sue you for downloading it) . a logitech G27 + nascar 2003 + a few cold ones + a few rolled ones = a TON of fun . . its seriously the BEST nascar simulator ever made (which is really sad.... ) these modern NASCAR games for the X-box just suck..... call themselves a sim.... but are even easier than "out-run" at the arcade.... . NASCAR 2003 is a HARD CORE racing sim better than 99.86% of modern "racing simulators".......... nascar, F1, or rally
