I just bought a 2003 SE today for 3 grand. Its in pristine condition with only two owners. It has 86,000 miles on it, and runs like a champ. Not a single scratch or ding and has brand new tires, brakes, and exhaust. The engine is so clean you can eat off of it, and the interior is spotless.😁 I was amazed of the value that this car offers. Hoping it will last me for a few good years.😁

I have a 03 Taurus that I'm giving to my son. It will be his first car. For safety reasons I'm adding an aftermarket backup camera. On my newer cars I have seen how great of a safety feature the backup camera is.

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus. I bought mine in October of 2020 with 99,500 miles on it. Unfortunately I had to put in a lot of money to get it road worthy again. Previous owner simply never maintained it. What I don't like about my model is the drums on back wheels, only because drums are notorious for going out of round right away. Thankfully that hasn't happened in the year and a half of having drums rebuilt. As of 9/2023, I have 111,300 miles and counting. Although engine light still pops on for which no mechanic can figure out why, sometimes light goes away but runs okay, a little touchy in acceleration but I have adapted to it. This model is not bad looking, I simply bought new headlight housings and added LED lamps for superior brightness, and replaced front corner turn signals and reverse lamps with LEDs as well. Can't do the same with brake lamps unless I do some rewiring which I don't want to deal with, simply found brighter incandescent lamps. Overall this car your showing us is in pretty good shape for having 220+ miles on it. My car is gold in color with a khaki color interior. And your correct on wheel size, they are 16in.

Thought it was a good video man. I'm planning on getting ths exact same car this saturday coming up. I hope it's in good condition as your car. It has a little over 97,000 miles on the car i'm getting but it should hold me down for a bit until I could get a better one. Thanks for making this video once again.

Brian Lomas They are so nice with front split bench seating! My grandpa has a ‘98 and I love it! The only thing broken is power door locks. But manual locks are easy to get used to. It also has a plain key, no remote or chip. Probably the last of that! Not to mention it’s distinctive sinuous look as well which I like a lot more than the 2000-2007 models.

Is this car based on the old in 1993 introduced Ford Mondeo? It looks like a little bit oldfashioned compared to 2003 Ford Mondeo. I know the US Fords based on the same plattform as Mondeos here in Europe.

These Ford Taurus and Mercury Sables from 2000 to 2007 are really decent cars.Definitely better then the vehicles ford is making now a days.I personally own a 2000 Sable and although it’s 23 years old it only has 69000 miles on it and it starts every time.I have a few videos of it on my channel.

I picked up a 2001 Taurus SE with only 48000 miles last friday. It's got a small oil leak from the accessory belt side of the engine (front crank seal or timing cover gasket), small coolant leak (can smell it but can't see it), AC doesnt work but system has pressure and both fans work and the right rear upper strut mount is noisy. The coolant leak is my main concern as it was down almost 2 quarts when I picked it up but i don't know how long it has been like that.
@Raclex1310 жыл бұрын
I know this is like 7 months old, but if you still have the car, check the PCV assembly, as this is a common place to have oil leaks that people don't think about

I have no idea what happened to the 2003 after we broke up. She rear ended someone in the 2005 Taurus after they stopped hard in front of her and she wasn’t paying attention.

We just bought a 03 Taurus which drive should we use?
@aidanmccaffrey40447 жыл бұрын
The D with a white outline is overdrive. Don't really ever use low or others. It's okay to always keep it in overdrive because it doesn't engage until you go over 50 mph. The other drive is fine. Overdrive may save gas though
