I was in a accident in a s600 in 2003 when a Chevy surburban tboned us and the pre safe and side airbags were life saving. I was able to walk away and the car tele aid system called 911 for me

I drove one but I advise Don’t drive one or you will fall in love. It epic in power, abc ride is amazing. Almost purchased but parked it and saw pool of oil under low mileage 2005 model. Got a 2010 S550 and deal with other high maintenance expenses…but enjoy driving it sooo much…Mercedes addict now

Do you plan on posting vids about your s550? I love S classes, unfortunately most s500/s600 owners can afford the car but not the maintenance, leading to cheap bad examples.

The value dropped for todays used price. The first breakdown will cost more than you paid. Reliability was horrible but a great car when new

This Mercedes S600 had a very nice technology features. However, this car was incredibly unreliable and a nightmare to work with.

@Undertaker Fire dude, calm down. You sound 12 years old. My cousin owned one of these, and it gave him a bunch of headaches. It is known for the air suspension failure, where the car can sag.

@@ubiased23 I understand, sorry I just get pissed, it’s literally all people ever bitch about,, they can be fixed at home for not that much besides parts. I own one with airmatic 09 CL550.. love it... Anyhow these have ABC hydraulic, still can be fixed at home just have to understand the system....

@Undertaker Fire of course, can be fixed, and we can talk about it. There is no reason to get worked up. CL550? I love these cars, man. They are good-looking and very advanced. They are a good car to own if you are a mechanic. Unless, you buy used parts and install them on your own. If you can fix the car then good for you. However, if you are an average person then it wouldn't make sense to own this car. Plus, the parts for the air suspension are very expensive. Especially, when you buy the Mercedes w220 for around $3-6000. If you replace the air suspension compressor and other parts, you are looking at around 4 grand for parts and labor. That's why the w220 depreciates so quickly.

@@ubiased23 not at all, Air ride struts can be bought for around 3-4 hundred a piece and usually not all at once as you only replace blown struts unless someone opts to replace them all due to age and not wanting to wait till the others crack and leak.. As far as being expensive I always say compare them to even the cheapest trim of new f**kin Toyota Camry you can get and you still won’t spend the equivalent with buying and maintaining a W220 or A LOT of luxury cars....

I dislike the 2007 S class the most, it's very ugly outside but does have a very nice interior.
