I had one of these in high school with the 2.0 and the 5 Speed and it was the perfect school commuter, honestly the 2.0 is pretty easy to maintain, it’s only an 8 Valve with a Single cam, so if the timing belt breaks it doesn’t bend any valves

@@fmstudio085 I’ll be honest I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you find one that has been serviced regularly, the automatic transmissions in the MK4 Golf and Jetta weren’t made very well, however the Manual ones are pretty reliable, and very easy to learn how to drive on

It's kilometers, because that's what they use over there. Miles is for cars designed to be sold in countries that use miles. It doesn't really matter except that one is more than the other so if you ever acquire a car that uses the opposite, and your fuel gage doesn't work you'll have some problems if you forget.
