2004-2009 Toyota Prius Emergency Brake Adjustment

You adjust the emergency brake under the center console... If you need just the slightest adjustment you can do it right at the emergency brake What you're doing is simply adjusting the brakes so they sit well inside the drum

Your adjuster swivel end is not installed correctly. The swivel end should be installed 180 degrees from the way it has been on your car. Somebody wasn't paying attention during a brake job.

@@dragon8566the swivel on the left side shown in the video should be flipped 180 degrees from how it is now sitting there is a lip engraved out that slides onto the self adjuster and that’s why he was having to do it manually
