That righthand chain guide had the metal piece on it(23'.57") when you was matchn old with new.But good on you for catchn that or we'd be in big doo doo.😅

Got a question were do you get this service manual for the specs and do you live in houston I would drop mine off I think my timing change snapped. It's making a jet engine sound. 77k miles. Will a crankshaft or cam shaft positioning sensor make the car sound like that thanks. Hopefully you make more videos

Did you have to wiggle the cams to get the alignment tool out or did it come out smoothly?

@@oscars-autorepair3236 im having issues with it wanting to get stuck since i put the new chain on. I have to wiggle the cams to get the tool out. The only way i can get the cam tool to come out smoothly is to pull the vvt cam back when i put the chain on, but it puts tension in between the cam gears before i release the tensioner. which im afraid will cause premature wear on the gears. Both turn smoothly when turnt by hand nothing hits. Im stumped man and Ive done this process twice, im tired and these washers and bolts are getting expensive 😅

Part 2, he uses special tool for where you have 2 bolts in to the engine stopping the crank shaft from rotating
