I think you need to low the truck at least 3 inches to notice that you did something there. Those 2 inches doesn´t make any difference.

Would have been a good idea to add a little grease on the bushings to help install and eliminate the possibility of squeak.

Probably would be easier to just remove the 2inch block that usually is there on 4x4 models

Waste of money.I just I stalled the 2" shackles a d it only lowered my truck 1".After paying $150 labor I had to immediately order Bell tech 2"-3" drop and pay (AGAIN) for labor!

He put the new shackles on different then the factory ones were. Factory ones had open side facing up. New ones he put on had open side facing down.

The way he pronounces "gonna" really bugs me lol. So Rough Country's site says these are only for up to 2013, but here it says 2014 in the video. To my knowledge 13 and 14 truck frames/suspension should be the same. Can anyone confirm?

@@masterho5127 that's a solid truck. Had a 2000 5-speed, which was fun. my Silverado was vibrating bad in the 25-40 range. Now it's fine though

​@KF1 did the shims fix the vibration? I just installed 2inch drop shackles of my 23 f150 and I'm getting vibration when slowing down to a stop, wasn't there before.

@@JoseRamirez-sb6zi yes, the shims fixed it completely. Been a few years, tho if I remember, you might not have to fully disassemble the leaf bracket, just loosen enough to get it in there. Make sure to put it 3/4 tight and then let it settle before tightening fully.

The top hole is 1in , bottom hole is 2in that’s why there was no difference.
