In 1970 in a small town in Texas. I saw a 1969 mercury marquis fitted with a special fuel tank that was pressurized in which the gasoline was heated up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Before being fed into the engine intake manifolds being controlled by a valve connected to the accelerator pedal. The Demonstration that followed for the local press had 2 measured gallon placed in the car , and reporter drive the car around a track until it ran out. The car covered 200 miles at speeds up to 70mph. I always wonder what became of that research and development.

You should do some research on Smokey Yunick's Hot Vapor Engine; it super heats and vaporizes the fuel via engine coolant heat exchanger, and then hot exhaust gas and compression, and uses a carburetor instead of fuel injection. Really neat setup, basically get the fuel up to the same temp as the exhaust and run it pretty lean and it seems to be really stable. I don't think he ever fully explained exactly how it worked or the full specifics of the design, though.
@Alyoha5 жыл бұрын
Fantastic job! If I may add couple of remarks I would recommend following. 1. Add at least one more hose (because You need to maintain stechiometric ratio of fuel and air) and that'll help to idle correctly. 2. Add tall bubbler between canister and intake- and this will keep liquid fuel from being sucked into engine while accelerating. There are more improvements of course, like as splitting air and fuel vapor supply, adding air dryer (so Ur fuel wont catch moisture from air and keeps vaporizing faster) and adding heat pipes connected to engine cooling system. Sky is the limit here. Anyways, my best compliments!

Hi. this video brings back memories forcme. In high school I had a old V.W dune buggy ( Manx ) that I did the same thing to. a little different set up but the same concept. And also a class mate in the same science class also installed a stainless steel vapor chamber in has Datsun B210, it was really cool and we did a lot of different set ups on the car and performed numerous experiments with his car. We did lots of gas milage test and also speed testing. hot and cold testing, stopping and turning, you name it, we did it. The B210 got about 90 to 100 miles per gallon, we pretty much felt we could have increased it a bit more if we could have odimized the fuel a little better? and the Buggy even had better mileage due to the weight of the vehicle, it was made of fiber glass so it was pretty lite, plus it was air cooled which helped increase the milage also. We were able to get about 120 to 130 m.p.g on average. Thanks for showing this video. it brings back alot of good memories for me. We did this back in 1984 and I thought at the time for sure that in the future we would see cars getting 200 m.p.g or even more. But we a fighting a up hill battle with the oil companies on that one. Now it's all about the electric vehicles. but I can see someone making a natural gas vehicle that could get 200 m.p.g or more. Maybe I should find my old papers and start tinkering again. That would be fun. Take care. and Thanks again. Hawk out!!

THIS also works on fuel injection cars. the car will see it's running well without the injectors and adjust itsself accordingly you can watch the mpg meter in some fuel injection cars go way up past 99 mpg it's a very useful way But agian it's dangerous as it can sometimes make the car think the engines about to blow up and trigger something called limp mode and the injectors actually stop working a simple battery reset can fix it but backfiring while having a fuel cell is dangerous in itsself limp mode likes to backfire . make sure to have a check valve letting air go one way but once it backfires it shuts due to the back pressure and make sure to have a pop off valve so you dont blow up your intake .

If you read any tuning manual, running an engine as lean as possible might achieve maximum performance, but could burn a hole in a piston, or burn a valve. You see a certain amount of fuel is required to be in the cylinder during the compression stroke that can moderate the balance between power, efficiency, and heat. I think hydrogen injection with gas present could be a viable situation. I know a guy that added water injection to his Datsun B210 in 1979 and he kept detailed records of his fuel mileage. He claimed that he was getting 38-40 miles per gallon Highway with the water injection verses 28 MPG without.

I've designed and built a similar system but took off fuel rail and hooked it into a box with a spray nozzle connected to it. Spraying gas on stainless steel brillo then the fumes would be sucked in through the air intake system, also had a return line on the bottom of the box with a small electric pump attached runing back to the gas tank. Had it on my father's 89 gmc long wheel base and it was averaging about 88mpg. Note tho your right kid it does want to stall out at normal idle but is easily fixed by adjusting ur idler to around 1100-1200 rpm. Man, looking at the comments shows me just how dead skeptical curiousity is. On the one hand, our physics models do a good job of explaining and predicting the natural phenomena around us, and have survived a lot of negation - this includes the incredible body of knowledge around using combustion as a mechanical and thermal energy source. On the other hand, we must always guard against orthodoxy in the face of contradictory information. Many of these videos have proven to be false, or the engines die under even a moderate load, and several have refused to allow engineers to look under the hood, but I came over from a video of a guy that stuck a $5 PVC gasoline bong in a lawnmower's intake and got a 3% efficiency increase. We need negation, we need controls, and we need a lot of cars rigorously inspected and installed with several iterations of these alongside cars in a control group. Optimism tempered by rigorous application of negation and the scientific method, in the open where orthodox engineers can't unconsciously sabatoge or upend the experiment and where these backyard mechanics can't pull any hoodwinks, and at the least where we can see the iterations of the idea played out over significant time spans to see what it does to different intake manifolds and cylinder heads. What we don't need is orthodoxy and reaction in endless contempt of each other. We can say that dunking palladium wafers in deuterium under certain conditions produces flashes of heat and we don't know why without going 5 miles off the rails and screaming about government cabals and coverups. Same here. Temper your skepticism with humility and temper your zealotry with some doubt. All of you have been hoodwinked before.

+Charles Frogg Do you utilize a flux capacitor energy source for a back up in case you primary fuel delivery system fails? Those Sukisinzakabana O2 sensors are a bitch to find. I found one on ebay......all the way over in Latvia. Cost $1200 plus $125 just to ship it. Do you know where i can find another one that's a little cheaper? That Zion control is difficult to keep at a steady 855mv plus or minus 20mv. Do you have that issue with Zion control or do the extenda tablets keep the zapakineta pulse width within range?

wrotenwasp In the lab I set up to keep my fuel saver operating the technicians have discovered that a Bulldog timer written into the code of the shishibaquabue pre control systemic over voltage protection circuit Chip with Kryptonite capacitors is the secret, if the voltage in the micro polar assermetric Henry delivery coil in the magnetic pyramid flux concentrator get feed back which throws the whole process in reverse causing a lot of banging and smoke similar to feeding your goat crack. I have never had any luck at buying Sukisinzakabana O2 sensors on E Bay or any other country in the west as they were mainly made for the original USSR program for the monitoring of dogs oxygen usage in the Sputnik space program and are as rare as Stalins friends. Good luck with your quest for a Sukisinzakabana O2 sensor you might try China I hear they copy anything and everything there. I did manage to find one in Shanghai two years ago after losing one out side of a McDonalds and on returning the next day to search for it I found a Sukisinzakabana O2 sensor shop on the corner but when I returned the next day it had gone and had been replaced by a Rolex shop .:} :)

Charles Frogg Damn,Im impressed. You folks got some high falutin , high tech gizmos in your shop. Im surprised NASA aint contacted you folks to work on a new propulsion system to get humans to Mars? Better watch out for Russian/Chinese spies. You guys are on the cutting edge of a revolution of a new energy source! I tried China for that Sukisinzakabana O2 sensor but they just sent me a box of old vacuum tubes and some used pinball machine parts. I figured it might have been doc from back to the future playin a hoax on me. Keep up the good work. Kryptonite capacitors? I bet they dont leak like them old wax ones from the 1950s. You know someone who takes this "runnin on fuel vapors" is gonna read all this shit and get really pissed off at us for fuckin with them but that's the fun part of the comments section of Utube.!! I havent seen a Henry delivery coil since the 1960s. Good find. Ebay I suppose? I have a Mashkatara bridge rectifier made in Japan in the 50s if you're interested. I heard that Stalin copied the ones in the B29s that the USSR comfiscated in WWII. Probably just a rumor though. I finished the 8th grade in Arkansas public schools if you guys are interested in hiring another tech to work on your cutting edge technology. I know I look like dumbass in my avatar but dont let the fool ya. Pleasure speaking to a true genius Mr Charles Frogg.

wrotenwasp Everyone is impressed at the advancements that we are making here in the most exciting country in the world. As you can see from my intelligent looking picture taken in Times Square when I was on a spying mission for the Zimbabwe governments space program to find out if the yankees had really landed a man on the moon that I tell no lies. When my brother Acunte Kintarte returns from herding the goats we are going to crank up the windmill generator and power up our latest invention the Zenetholetic power chip and see how little distance it will transmit killaprawns of electricity. Imagine having one of those in your SUV with the latest vapour power system, I will keep you informed.

wrotenwasp Hey man hang on to those vacuum tubes, now that Sharp has been bought out by the Koreans I have been told that they will be worth a motza in a few years time when the reruns of the Twilight Zone are replayed. Something to do with the snow and control of your TV set. Shit man not a Mashkatara I have been looking for one of those for years. When My cousin Thong Crutch was working in Thailand I asked her to look for one of those but a black guy with bottle of Brycrill cream on his dick sold her a Chinese reproduction without any knobs but my mother said she could still find out why sheep always crapp round balls, smarter than my cousin thinking all white men have white dicks.

Couldnt you run a water hose from the gas tank under the car. Run two hoses where you fill up your cars tank. One water hose to the intake where the air sensor is. Remove the air sensor. Another down into the gas tank sticking out the top with a filter.
@KFLY67 Жыл бұрын
Need to make a gas restrictor so you can control the gas from flooding the intake

@vr6prodigy8 жыл бұрын
you should rework the system and do a bed mounted system. something you can put plenty of air through so your truck won't bog so bad. a stainless steel box would work beautifully and if you do it right you could have the system sealed well enough that you could do a snorkel style intake for better water protection.

But can you also design a stainless tank with the flashback arrestor for the setup which would be more safer than a plastic tank which can break easily also in place for a foolproof setup.
@brian13959 жыл бұрын
+Ganesh ms and the plastic tank is prone to static electricity, although the gas tank he uses is resistant it is not static proof. the movement of the car and gas in side is not a good combo. for long term use maybe a metal grounded tank is better. As far as the boom factor yes a fba is needed on all inlets and outlets. problem solved.

ZZROBProductions heat the air coming into the vapor can or run heater hoses into your cold fuel to keep it warm

@@Countryclassics101 run heater hoses sitting in the gas or wrap them around the can?

@@ZZROBProductions no. I would run copper lines from your air in lines down to the exhaust pipes and clamp them to pipes. You need to filter that intake air also
