Thank you for posting this race!. Been looking for it online for a long time. I was there for this race in person rooting for Mark Martin from the turn 4 stands. Until I just re-watched this race just now, I never realized Mark only took 2 tires on that last pit stop. It was an amazing thing to witness in person though, Mark flying back thru the field after the (pit stop lug nut issue). Never forget what it felt like from the stands that day. It was awesome even though it ended up being a 2nd place finish..it felt like a win.

I just noticed Drew Blinkenderfer on Mark Martin's crew. He became Matt Kenseth's crew chief in 2009 and won the Daytona 500.

Watching Sadler talk with BP before the race- man, talk about a guy that was going places. He was finally starting to fit at RYR- good car, Parrott as the crew chief, good teammate with Jarrett. This was his breakout year. 2004- 4 poles and would have made the Chase if it had 12 drivers. I think RYR just couldn't adjust to the Ford Fusion- man, I miss the Ford Taurus.

I found it ironic this race had all the Superhero cars, yet the ensuing Michigan race, called the Batman Begins 400, had NONE of these. Why didn't Busch/Rudd/Biffle save these cars for that race?

Chris Kreager Mark Martin drove the Batman begins car, plus, the drivers probably did this as a spoiler alert to the next seasons race. IDK just guessing.

He was suspended from TNT in 2009 for what rumored to be a verbal confrontation about his hotel room during the Loudon weekend (TNT never told exactly what happened). Last time I saw him, he was on VS (now NBCSN) doing hydroplane racing last year.

Nascar 06 total team control challenges Mark Martin 6 Pfizer Ford Taurus 2 or 4 you make the call 2:25:01 In the race Martin was in the 6 Pfizer Batman Ford Taurus as he got beaten off pit road taking two tires as his teammate than Greg Biffle was in the National Guard Flash Gordon Ford Taurus with four fresh tires beating Martin out of the pits to win the race. In the challenge Martin was in the 2005 Pfizer Ford Tauras with Biffle in the National Guard Ford Taurus with the players job to recreate history by dropping into Martin's car and he'll have to pass biffle for the lead on two tires to win the segment.
