Looks good Travis. Mxkid261 from OSE forum here. Didn't know you knew that much about cars. I'm a mechanic myself at a private shop. In the process of trying to start my own with a buddy.

nate dogg thx. Man I know all kinds of shit. I try to do everything myself. I like keeping my money so I’d rather do it myself than Pay anyone else. I was into drag racing before boats. Cars and sand four wheelers. I wrecked my bike and sold it all. Go into boats. Took a break from cars for a while. I was known locally as the guy to beat. I had a really fast daily driven car. Was easily a low 10 second car I’d drove anywhere. That was back in the late 90’s early 2000’s. I’d get calls in the middle of the night to race people from out of town trailering shit here. I hurt lots of feelings. I’m starting that all over with this car. Be a little while before it gets there, but I like my cake and eat it too. Gotta be fast and able to drive it. Pump gas and air conditioning is a must.

Right on! I don't deal with any performance shit. Just general repairs and maintenance. Had an s10 though that I put a 4.8 LY2 in and was going to boost but I just sold it this summer. Just lost interest. Working on car's all day takes its toll on ambition to do anything involving a car when I get home Lol especially since I bought a new klx140 this spring and have a nice moto track 5 minutes down the road at my buddy's house. Always too many hobbies and not enough time right?

nate dogg no doubt. It took a lot to keep me on track with this project but now I’m glad I did.

Where did you relocate the coolant reservoir? Do you have any detailed photos of how everything is routed? Maybe without the bumper.

nice setup. I have a 2000 Z28 Huron speed V3 turbo kit with a air to water intercooler and a VS racing billet wheel 78/75. my stock bottom end ls1 setup was simmalar except LJMS cam FIC 110# injectors and Texas speed/PRC stage 2.5 ls6 CNC job on some 799's and a summit intake and 90mm TB it ran pretty good till I bent sevral rods then I threw all that on a 08 4.8 and having way more fun I put down 788 to the wheels on just boost it's got a little 50shot to my ol ls1 is almost finished reused the stock crank I got TSP's brand of rods and d.s.s pistons and ARP hardware but it's not goin in till I kill the 4.8 lol What does your car run in the 1/8 my buddy is in the process of building his 06 GTO it's gettin twins and a 416ci ls3 setup

It ran 7.21 @ 99mph on low boost due to my crossover pipe v band breaking. It’s much faster than that. Boost was dropping off in the upper ranges. It want 11.20@ 125 in the 1/4. O and I had a blown head gasket. I used the wrong gaskets for boost when I did the head swap because at that time I wasn’t planning on doing a turbo.

Very nice! Should be a fun car. When are you planning on getting an intercooler on the car?

Cucky4 when I turn it up. Plan is to take it easy for s whole and learn to tune it and be safe. Then I’ll upgrade things as I go. In the research I’ve done, people get away with up to 7 or 8 psi without a cooler. Heck a grand national ran 14lbs with no cooler. I just didn’t want to cut my car all up for it. I’m so far along now tho, if I have to, so be it.
