2004 Honda Foreman Rubicon TRX500 carb / carburetor removal! Easy Step Process. Works on 2001-2009s

This is the 3rd carb removal I've done in the same week, the others were 2001 and 2002 Foreman Rubicons. Nearly identical machines. All of them were re-jetted and re-installed. I also looked at a 2009 that has a different set of plastic covers, but the engine/carb/airbox setup is exactly the same. I believe this is the simplest way to remove the carb on these machines.

That carburetor heater can unplug from the harness can't it?

Yes it can, the first time through, I didn't realize that. But the second time through, I decided it would be about equal in level of effort, so I stuck to what I knew. But if yours is stuck or the nut is stripping/rounding, I'd say definitely just unplug from the harness. Careful with the plastic though, I busted the brittle plastic clip on a similar one. 12:27 ish is the best angle I have.

I just bought one, had been setting. It is limp mode in reverse, stuck in first gear, and no dash display. Any ideas. I think the dash display needs fixed first. I'm lost.

@@austincrumb1192 yeah it was the brain, the dash was cooked I bought both, spent a little more than I planned. I think it might have been struck by electric.
